Good location. Great price. Friendly helpful staff
Friendly greeting even when I arrived quite late. Clean comfortable room.
Large room Clean Comfortable
Wifi was terrible Location. Taxis added £35 to the price Lack if restaurants. Pub food was not good at all
My husband and I stayed at Harmondsworth Hall when we had a late night layover at Heathrow. The location is a bit difficult to find but we used the taxi service recommended by the manager and arrived within minutes. It is very close to Heathrow but not in a flight path so it was very quiet. In fact, for the number of guests staying there, the property was very quiet. The manager directed us to a local pub -- The Crown for late night fish & chips and that was excellent too. The breakfast served at Harmondsworth the next morning was the best breakfast we had on our entire trip. This is a great place; excellent value for the money.
The only down side is that the building is very old and the plumbing makes quite a bit of noise. Everything worked A-OK but it made us laugh every time we flushed the toilet because it made quite a bit of racket. However, that just added to the charm of this lovely place.
Very handy for terminal 5, lots of buses, quiet village location, offer of printer for boarding pass, friendly owner
Staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful
Ease of access to Heathrow. Welcoming staff and local pubs/shops
Breakfast was tasty and ample.Nice people and friendly. Loved the wooden decor and oldness of the place.
Love dogs but not in the dining room and it was obvious that they had been in the downstairs bedroom which sadly wasn't quite clean enough for us .
Comfortable beds excellent breakfast. Decor awesome , service excellent. Local pub brilliant. I will certainly stay when next in london. Easy access to tube via local bus.
Location made for very quick trip to Heathrow. Very helpful owners. Quiet. Large room. Nice breakfast (which they prepared for me even though I had a pre-breakfast-time departure). Two pubs nearby. Small dog with big personality.
Smell of cooking wafted in from somewhere during the evening, but very minor annoyance. Shower seemed to run out of hot water quickly, also a minor annoyance.
Close enough to Heathrow. (About £10-12 taxi). Handy for parking while away. Room was clean. Reasonable value given the cost of London hotels. Organised taxis. Light breakfast on offer for early starters (didn't try it).
Tiny bathroom. Bit rough around the edges.
Our room was adequate but the bathroom very small and the toilet seat fell apart. The staff were friendly enough although the cleaner became quite rude when we checked out later even though she had not had to clean our room at all while we were there!! The cooked breakfast was delicious. Over all quite ok
Even though the staff were nice I felt as if we wre imposing when asking for things, much rather a hotel for next time
Everything was just as it should be. A real home from home, and the breakfast is awesome!
We wanted somewhere different to the corporate hotels. We booked Harmondsworth Hall for the evening before and the night we returned from holiday. The service was excellent and a warm welcome. The room was huge and relaxing. A taxi was arranged for early pickup and collected us on our return. Breakfast was lovely. Would recommend to anyone wanting something different.
Couldn't get the bathroom heater to work.
This has the foundations of being a great B&B if it wasn't so tired and run down. It was a lovely house and I could see it would be quite lovely in the summer. Lovely sheets and towels which in my book are fundamental! Wonderful full English breakfast and good car parking. If it was given a really good clean I would recommend it for being great value in the area.
Sadly the bed was cheap and rock hard and the carpet was really dirty. The stairs were also filthy and really needed a good vac! The shower was small and with virtually no water pressure so it took a while to wash and rinse my hair.
We were so grateful to check in very early after the 19 hour flight. The nearby moor was a good place for a brisk "shake off the jet lag" walk later in the afternoon.
We stayed overnight on a Saturday in the family room. We liked everything! We had a ground floor room and it was very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of clean towels and toiletries and coffee and tea provided with a full size kettle. We ordered in from a local Chinese take-a-way which was delicious and ate in the dining room which was brilliant as we didn't feel like eating out after a long journey. It was like home from home and they even very kindly provided plates, cutlery etc and then cleared and washed up after we had eaten! A much appreciated 'extra' service. All in all a lovely place to stay.
Possibly two pillows rather than one but I am quite sure if I had asked they would have provided extra ones.Other than that nothing.
Great breakfast, free parking, quiet, comfortable room, Wi-Fi fine in dining room, not constant in room 8.
Wi-Fi cut out in room 8
Charming old house and village. Much nicer than a soulless airport hotel. Staff efficient and helpful.
Hot water very noisy. An airport shuttle was mentioned on the website but didn't exist. Taxi fast and cheap though.
Close to Heathrow but in a countryside town. We were welcomed even though it was very late when we arrived. Lovely big bedroom and nice bathroom. Lots of hot water. Two pubs nearby for anyone arriving earlier. The bus from the airport worked well for us. Good breakfast the next morning. Big old house with character.
Tickets for the bus could be a problem. I don't think one can pay the driver.
History of building. parking very good.
Not that welcoming on arrival. We're not told breakfast times for example. Paid extra for dog but received no extra service. Owner hardly acknowledged us until morning we left.
It didn't feel very clean and mice were spotted.
Good location, very convenient for Heathrow. Pleasant, well furnished room and friendly welcome. Off road parking. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Wifi let down because password in room didn't work for strongest signal router.
2 pubs within short walking distance upgraded me to a fantastic room provided toiletries strong wifi ordered me a taxi for the morning, about 10GBP to Heathrow Terminal 5 short bus ride from the main Heathrow bus terminal (10 min, maybe less) Friendly neighborhood
I had to leave!
