Harmony is a lovely, bright and fresh hotel with music and memorabilia from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. You’ll always be greeted with a warm smile and a kind word.

Harmony Hotel offers the best of both worlds. Small and quiet, there's also free top-class entertainment at the larger hotel next door, where there is also an indoor swimming pool (at an additional cost).

Harmony is a flat 10-minute walk from the seafront, Riviera Leisure / Conference Centre, Princess Theatre, Torre Abbey and the town centre.

Choosing to stay at Harmony also makes a fantastic base for exploring the rest of Devon and Cornwall.

Harmony is a small, privately-run family hotel, where the owners pride themselves on giving you the highest levels of quality and service.

For your comfort and relaxation, the hotel provides a cosy lounge and sun-trap courtyard.

A purpose-built guest ironing room is available, with hangers.

Food & beverage

A bright and airy, musically themed dining room serves a hearty breakfast.

A 4-course evening meal is available by prior request or can be ordered in advance on a daily basis. Evening meals are made to order, using local fresh produce.

Alternatively, Torbay has lots of restaurants offering fine dining. We will be happy to make you a reservation.

Room information

All superior and standard rooms have an en suite bathroom and are all decorated to a high standard.

All rooms are well-presented with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and each room has a duvet, 2 pillows, white cotton pillowcases and white cotton sheets on the beds.

All rooms have double-glazed windows and central heating (during the winter months).

Area information

Harmony Hotel is conveniently located on the main road and a short flat 10 minute walk will take you directly to the seafront. Torre Abbey with its flat green and beautiful flower beds is nearby. Torquay Leisure & Conference Centre is also within walking distance. Harmony Hotel is also close to Torquay Town Centre and the harbour-side, where an abundance of restaurants, bars, theatres and entertaining nightlife can be found.

For those of you who have not visited Torbay before we have a step by step guide on how to get into town (approximately a 10-15 minute walk) as well as maps and guides filled with loads of information to help you while you're out and about.

Travel information

By Car (from the M5):
- Follow the signs for Torquay.
- When you get to the Torre train station junction, follow the sign for the seafront.
- Harmony Hotel is 250 metres down on the left.

By Public Transport:
Torre Train station is approximately a 5 minute walk down the road.
Torquay train station and Torquay coach station are both a 5 minute taxi ride away.

Please note that the Harmony Hotel is unable to accommodate large single sex groups such as hen or stag parties.
