Harrington Court Apartments

Hem encertat la tria, malgrat el soroll. La ubicació és excel·lent: al costat de l'estació del Metro South Kensington. A dues cantonades del Museu d'Història Natural i del de la Ciència. I a quatre del Hyde Park. També és destacable el bon nivell de neteja i que les instal·lacions són prou noves i àmplies. En fi, crec que, també gràcies a les opinions que vam trobar a Internet, vam encertar la decisió! Sobretot tingueu present que hi ha tovalloles netes suficients i trastos de cuina (només caldria portar una mica d'oli català ;-). Relació qualitat-preu: bona.

El soroll. Si agafeu les habitacions impars (nosaltres per ex vam estar a la 303), tindreu molt bones vistes al carrer principal, però el soroll del trànsit el sentireu força a la nit i a l'endemà al matí. En canvi, les habitacions parells (en teníem una altra, la 304) donen al pati interior (amb olors a menjars, òbviament) i són més tranquil·les per dormir. Nosaltres ens vam distribuir segons si aguantàvem més el soroll o no.

Comfort is great. Deluxe appartment very spaceous and modern. Perfect location. Great beds.

On arrival we were told that our appartment was being "refurbished". They neant "overbooked" of course. I dislike lies very much. And did show so. We were promptly offered a deluxe appartment by the remote management to keep quier.

Fantastic room

The room was beside a busy road, and even with the windows fully shut, I was woken at 6.30 every morning by traffic

It is in a very convenient location for the underground and for walking to museums and parks.

A cracked bathroom mirror was not a good look and was not representative of the rest of the apartment.

Not a lot - I suppose the apartment was reasonable furnished.

The noise both from inside from other residents and outside from the nightclub next door

The location of the hotel was very close to the tube network which is ideal for moving around london and connecting to the national rail system.

There was no microwave, no cd player and no washing machine, all these were mentioned on the website as part of the package. There was also a terrible smell coming from the bathroom which was obviously due to a sewerage problem.

I liked the fact that it had 2 new bathrooms and the kitchen with modern facilities. And also we loved the broadbandintrernet. Steve who was resposible for the maintannence was very helpful.

It took ages to check in although I arrived after 4pm. Initially I was offered to choose between the accomodation on the 2d floor (which has biger size) and the 5th floor (with the view) and later after I viewed the 5th floor flat and said I'd like to go for the 2nd floor the receptionist changed her mind and said it was more expensive and I cannot have it.

The large 2 bedroom apartment is very well suited for a family, wonderfully equiped kitchen and 2 well appointed bathrooms. The location is great, only 10 steps away from South Ken tube and many buses...also nice restaurants and shops (french bakery!) in the area.

La discrezione e la gentilezza

La rapidité des formalités de prise en charge de l'appartement à l'arrivée, le confort de l'appartement et des lits, la propreté, la remarquable proximité des transports en commun.

La vaisselle est un peu insuffisante en quantité et en variété (manque de corbeilles, plats...). La qualité des personnels d'accueil est trop variable...
