The apartments are superbly situated for our needs. A few yards from the South Ken tube station, a taxi rank just outside the door and apub, and eateries just around the corner. The apartments are fine (need a bit of an update and tlc) butfor us it is Location, Location, Location! The apartments are starting to show their age. They need new carpets, new decor etc; but otherwise I cannot find anything to criticise them on

Location near tube and close to shops and restaurants We found about 10 cockroaches (alive) in the bathroom and in the carpeted entrance area in our studio. To me, that's enough not to go back or recommend. Room walls had stains near bed, seating area and especially kitchen. Very uncomfortable matress and if you sleep 2 people in that bed, not enough room.

Good location. Very close to tube station connecting to all places in london. There are many restuarants and convenient stores in th area. Avis car rent is just 10 min. Walk to pick up a car. Helpful and friendly staff. The two bed room apartment we rented is clean and have all facilities you may need. Wifi is free. We will go back to herrington again the day after tommorow after we got back from edinburgh.

The facilities, the kitchen. 1. There was a foul smell coming from the toilet for all 3 days. 2. the extra bed that we asked for (and which we were charged for) came with a nice big mattress but on a smaller bed. The blanket that came with this was stained. 3. The tv set was very small.

Handy location next to uderground and various resturants & shops. 2 Bedroom apartment was a very good size for family of 4. Daily housekeeping a good feature. WiFi not working in room was a huge disappointment. Despite the advertised feature we could not access the WiFi, front desk staff made aware of this, we were told that this is unusual and that a service call will be attended. Problem was not fixed. We had to sit in lobby to get connection.

The hotel is well located one minute from South Kensington station. Five minutes from the museums. Twenty minutes from the Kensington Palace. Near a couple of good supermarkets. The cleaning of the room has room for improvement. The first day I arrived I noted hair on the floor of the bathroom. Under the bed it was dirty. The balcony - that appears wonderful in the hotel pictures - was dirty.

The room was bright. Had a blacony. Failry clean. Room refurbished within the past 5-6 years. No washer/dryer though it was advertised and that's what I always look for. Front receptionists very nice but not very knowledgeable. One didn't know how to reprint an invoice with the correct amount so I walked away with 2 invoices to submit for VAT. I also called to ask if someone could come and open the safe in the room and that receptionist told me I had to wait until 9am bc the janitor was the only person with keys! I needed to leave for work and I really didn't feel comfortable with a janitor having access to the safe in my room so I was prepared to take all my valuables to work but the manager came up shortly after and corrected. Said the keys are locked away and it had to be signed out. Crazy that they would not know that it was resolved within 15 minutes so it was fine.

Great location very near South Kensington Tube. Polite helpful staff. Apartments clean and comfortable. The fact that washing machines and dryers were advertised for studio apartments. This was not the case and when we queried this we were told we could use one in a larger apartment . As the apartments were fully booked for the weekend none was available until the third day of our five day stay.

The location is fantastic. The studios were bigger than I expected and generally pretty comfortable. I had booked this hotel because several websites (including booking.com) assured me that all rooms had washing machines and we were there for an 8 night stay. Apparently that means all rooms except the basic studio that we were staying in. When we pointed this out we were offered the use of the washing machine in one of the 2 bedroom apartments but this was then retracted as the hotel was full.

We liked the location and size of the accommodation. Cleaned everyday. The general level of maintenance was low. The drain in the MB en-suite shower wouldn't work, washing / drying machine and the dishwasher were faulty and not working, a/c in the MB was not cooling/ All problems were fixed except the last one and we were okay given the cool temps outside but I wouldn't like to stay there during the summer months unless I keep all other A/Cs working all the time. Besides this, there were enough marks on the carpet and walls. You do notice a lot if you're staying for a week. Reasonable value for the money for 4 persons in South Kensington.

Location excellent - very close to Tube station, right next door to internet cafe. Friendly staff. Safe and comfortable. Clean. Most importantly was able to have 5 persons in the two bedroom apartment. Was able to check in early - that is a very good sales point and is not always permitted even if the room/apartment is empty. The reception staff were very friendly, smart and polite especially the lady who sounded as though she was from the Philippines and also the one from Poland. Quality of some of the furniture not great, eg beds. The wardrobe was not stable. No plugs for the wash basins. Wi-fi connection not always available. Some of the windows could not be locked but that was not a problem on the third floor.

Location Helpful staff Although we reserved 4 rooms and notified them that we want to be close to each other, we had each room in different floor (They do not make our rooms on one floor)!! Very old elevator and the other is out of service.

Excellent location near to tube station with several good restaurants nearby and a Tesco Express. Quiet and peaceful at night, we particularly liked the patio doors leading onto a small balcony. Well equipped and kept very clean. No complaints at all.

Spacious apartment. The place looks like it's run by an absentee landlord. Kudos to the cleaning staff for trying, but the carpet and walls are filthy. The carpet and walls are in worse condition than a subsidized housing development that I lived in College 14 years ago.. and I'm pretty sure they're 20 years old. dont bring little ones here if they crawl. it's gross. It's too bad because the kitchen and bathrooms are clean and modern. But, furniture was bashed and broken a bit and the lack of care shows. Also the service at the front desk is non-existent. The woman actually told me they "not allowed" to help people book activities. They couldn't even give us directions. Really? It's not a hotel - it's a filthy furnished short-term let.

The location was just where we wanted to be, and it's beside the Tube station. We arrived early and the room was ready, and they allowed us to check in early, which was great. The bedroom and the bathroom were clean and the kitchen facilities were very good. The Wi-Fi worked without a problem, which is often not the case in hotels. We payed for a fold-out bed and it was quite uncomfortable.

Good deal to do an apartment for 2 couples instead of 2 separate hotel rooms. Good location near South Kensington Tube stop. Nice showers (hot water, water pressure). Walls were in desperate need of repainting, carpeting in need of replacing -- it gave a dingy quality to what would have otherwise been a great room, and made us feel that other things were dirty too even though no actual evidence. Bed mattresses cheap and springy.

Location is very good, 1 min walk to South Ken tube station. We stayed at a studio, and it was roomy enaough, we had an extra bed. Wifi was poor in our room which was at the end of the corridor(3rd floor), however it was good in our friend's room which was close to where reception is located. Extra bed is very uncomfortable, but the staff was helpful to bring an extra mattress to make it reasonable. Normal beds are so so.

It has an excellent location - about 2 minute walk to South Kensington Tube station. H There are no supermarkets around or nice restaurants..apart from a Pret Manger across the road from the Tube. I have stayed at Harrington Courts before and was very pleased on my first stay. This 2nd trip I realised the housekeepers have been changed (from filipino to eastern europeans) and the room was in a mess. They did not empty the trash, did not wipe anything down..and the only thing they did was to roughly pull the blankets up over the sheets. Very disappointed this time round.

It was more close to the Tube station. Many shops, restauratnts, were available. Very close to Museums, Harrods, etc. Transport facility from the location (tube, bus) was very good. The facilities mentioned in the booking.com website was not available in the apartment. The large one bedroom apartment did not have a washing machine as mentioned in the site. The mobile phone was not working form the room as the signal was very weak.

Not bad apartments in a good place. Expensive price for the service offered. You pay the location. Walls need to be painted. Cleaning service only to change towels and make beds.
