i liked the attitude of the staff in the hotel, the convenience of the location and the comfort of the room I was in. Complimentary mineral water every day. Overall I was happy with the hotel but felt that a bit more creature comforts in the technology dept would help on a rainy day. the price of connection to the Internet is silly in this hotel. The executive room should have had an up to date flatscreen tv with a HDMA socket rather an old fashioned tube tv which was on the point of giving up the ghost. I am an Intercontinental ambassador card holder and was expecting an upgrade but was surprised that the suite was actually of a lower standard to the executive.

Breakfast was good The room(1106) was freezing when I arrived with no form of heating in the en-suite.The window was poorly fitted.I Had to switch on the one radiator in the room which was not efficient, thus taking the duration of my stay to lift the temperature level to an acceptable level in the bedroom. The only way to get the ensuite warm was to run the shower at full heat for 20mins. The next morning a cleaner decided to clean the ajoining room at 8am

The front desk staff went above and beyond -- very personable, courteous and friendly. The gentleman on night duty made sure that we were awake after the wake-up call as he had heard that we were nervous about missing the taxi. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very well equiped No swimming pool

It was extremely comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location to all city centre amenities was also very good. The food was first class. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean but could do with more up to date televisions, the reception on ours was very poor for the time spent in the room.

Central location, easy to find, car parking facilities, staff accommodating. Room was cold when we arrived because the heating had been turned right down. Stayed on 10th Floor so lifts were essential - long waits

Breakfast was very poor - cheap loaf of bread (choice of white or brown) must have cost them a maximum of 10p for a loaf. The hotel is very nice and the staff friendly, but really a very poor quality breakfast.

The location was perfect for Harrogate Theatre. Some of the chairs in the bar and restaurant were dirty. The hotel is in need of an upgrade - the tv in our room was very bulky.

Parking (disabled right outside) The restaurant! The breakfast was ok but the dinner was not of a good standard. The pasta dish I chose was a congealed mess and tasted like it was out of a jar and not freshly cooked as suggested in the menu. The grilled sterak was also very bad value for what you got.
