This is our favorite place to stay. The the venue and food are amazing but the staff are outstanding. They can't do enough to make your stay extra special. They are main reason we go back.

Corky whimsical feel. Spacious and functional room with all the needed amenities. Beautiful grounds. Pub has lots of great food, starts early and stays open late. Andrea and Miha were the perfect hostess.

The Dog & Bear was very comfortable. Great to have a bath with really hot water after a hard day walking the Pilgrims Way. Food was just what we needed, well cooked, filling and tasty. Incredible walks through fields just past the medieval church. I went to the local shop to buy some dog food and they let the dog in. I chatted to locals and visited some more of the shops all dog friendly. The village is beautiful and has a range of pubs and restaurants which I didn’t get chance to use. It was a really nice place to stay for a night. I would have like to have stayed longer. To top it off I heard a nightingale on my walk. I’ll definitely be back. Sweet, quintessential English village.
Sweet, quintessential English village. The Bow Window coffee shop is first rate both food and staff. Under new management since beginning of February 2020. Close to Leeds Castle and Chilston Park Hotel amongst beautiful countryside.

The food for dinner was brilliant and the area is so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed as a birthday celebration for my partner and the staff made a "Happy Birthday" plate with sweet treats, which was a lovely surprise for him.
