Superbly spacious, comfortable room (3) and excellent ensuite. Breakfast was first rate. Staff friendly and helpful. Very peaceful rural location. A real delight and I would recommend it strongly.

Evening bar meal was nothing special. If you arrive on foot don't come on the back road from Charing as the junction is severely flooded and I was told this is a long-term problem. (Not a problem for cars). The more major road from Lenham is unaffected - and a local 4x4 driver offered me a lift through the flood, muddy boots and all - how kind is that?

Lack of toilet condiments. The only soap was a dispenser on the washbasin.

The beer was good !

The rooms are dirty. The carpet was dirty with stains, the tiles in the bathroom have mould around them, the windows have mould and condensation which also stained the net curtains. The duvet on the bed was so narrow it didn't reach the edge of the bed. Also, to get to the bar you have to go outside and come in through another entrance?

Excellent service from staff and did everything to make my stay enjoyable. Good selection of home cooked food at reasonable prices. Room was clean and comfortable, if a little dated in decor. Big widescreen TV in room.

Mobile phone signal and wireless access almost non-existant, but as I only stayed one night, it didn't really give me a problem.

The location was brilliant and very quiet, the room was large, clean, warm and comfortable. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food in the restaurant was superb. Really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely be going back.

The bedroom was awful smelt very damp and the bed was terrible. Neither of us slept that well.

The friendly Attitude of the staff who work very hard and are very welcoming everything you need for a escape from it all county break! Food was delicious too! Already booked to go back :-))

What a find, we were looking for a hotel near Chatham as I wanted to visit my place of birth. The advert said good food, comfortable and friendly staff but it wasn'T. It was charming, the food was superb, the staff could not have been more helpful and the wine was very good indeed. We liked the look of the hotel and it's location but we wanted peace and quiet and are used to driving on narrow roads in Norfolk, if you do not like driving on country lanes with very small passing places this may not be for you. We are planning on going back to do more reseach on family history If you stay here you must try the home made pies, they were out of this world and we brought some home frozen to eat later

Holiday Inn was very welcoming, and very friendly , very comfortable, and beautiful rooms we as a family had three booked and all our rooms were very clean and lovely rooms with all the facilities we needed , its a shame we were only there for one night , as we went to a family party , would loved to have spent a bit more time to make use of our beautiful room , we came down for breakfast in the morning to be greeted with great hospitality, and a great English breakfast , Thank you all for your personal touches, we would love to stay at the holiday Inn again sometime .

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We had an excellent breakfast where nothing was too much. There were only two main staff members but they gave a very good level of service. Would recommend to others.

Fine hotel! Excellent value for the price. Perfect place in the midst of nature, close to Ashford. Peace and quiet. Nice staff. Very friendly and helpfull. Perfect spot!

OK English cleanliness is not the same standard as Dutch cleanliness, but taken that in account, for English standards it is sufficient.

Family room was a good size. Free bottled water in the room. Good quality tv in the room.

Shower in bathroom was inadequate due to poor water pressure. Bathroom in need of modernisation. One of the single beds was very uncomfortable, but hotel manager agreed with me and duly adjusted the room bill.

The Harrow never disappoints,would recommend it to anyone passing along the A20.Anton runs a great business and will do anything to assist you during your stay.He even lent me his lap top as my notebook would not pick up the WIFI signal though everyone else in the bar had a single.The setting is so relaxing and quiet its worth the 1/2 mile you have to drive off the main road.

Personeel was oké. Kamer op zich oké. Eten oké. Bereikbaarheid leuke lokaties/steden in de omgeving oké.

Bed uiterst onkomfortabel (tweepersoonsbed). Lokatie onverwacht "achteraf/afgelegen". Alleen bereikbaar via hele kleine smalle weggetjes. Wandelen op deze weggetjes is levensgevaarlijk (onoverzichtelijk wegens hegggen). Om dichtstbijzijnde wandelpad te bereiken moet je ongeveer 2 km "je leven wagen" op de weg. Dorpje ver weg (niet te belopen, mede door genoemde wegen. De prijs is veel te hoog voor het totaal. Al was het hotel niet slecht... Maar voor dat geld zijn er betere hotels/lokaties in Kent. Op zich durf ik het hotel aan te bevelen, maar met onder voorbehoud van bovengenoemde.
