We stayed 4 nights at Harry's Bed and Breakfast and we couldn't have stayed in a more convenient and welcoming place. The city centre is only a 10-minute walk away and we were close to the river Cam, so we were able to enjoy the city without relying on public transport or the car. As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel really welcome. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious with good WiFi connection and have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We were lucky enough to have the downstairs bedroom which opened out onto a patio and garden with table and chairs. Being able to sit outside and enjoy a drink at night really added to the holiday. They offer something for everybody for breakfast. We had a choice of full English, continental, cereal, yogurt or fruit. They also took any requests you might have, in our case, a boiled egg, and prepared it in exactly the way we wanted it. The owners and staff at Harry's Bed and Breakfast really went out of their way to make our stay special and we will definitely be returning to Cambridge and Harry's B&B!
The room was lovely and we had access to the garden! Can't wait to come back
Excellent owners and excellent breakfast! We'd stay here again in the future!
Very polite and helpful. Walking distance to Cambridge. Clean, nice room with patio.
The bed quality was great giving a good sleep. Breakfast excellent.
Wobbly shower head and shower door did close. Room door very creaky on shutting.
Warm welcome when we arrived, lovely room at the front of the house with a big bay window with table and chairs to watch the world go by. very comfortable bed with lots of interesting furniture , some with a far eastern flavour. Plenty of tea and coffee plus hot chocolate and biscuits. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of either english or continental. super coffee freshly made and strong enough to have you buzzing round the light fittings.
Dining room a bit small if everyone arrived for breakfast at the same time.
very nice gentleman, big british breakfast
We had the cabin in the garden and there the best night sleep.
Conveniently located Cheerful welcome Good breakfast
harry was nice man bed was really comfy location was really good
Fresh breakfast. Friendly couple. Easy to reach from outside Cambridge, but also very near the park, so that the walk to the center is very nice.
You can hear everything from the other rooms. Some little works could make the house nicer, the external facade in particular.
I call the host this afternoon, he told me call him 1 hour later. Ok, it is 2 hours later now, and I made 6 calls, no one picks phone. I am very sad and angry
Nice and clean. Greta busconnection to the railwaystation
clean rooms excellent breakfast
we were there only for a night. we arrived around 9 in the night all the restaurants were shut near and some toast or bread would have been nice. besides hat I had asked for a ground floor room as we had 2 large suitcases which had been okay-ed. our room was on the 1st floor and Chris watched my husband carry them upstairs which did not happen with Julian at the other bnb we stayed at in york
Very close to the city so easy to park at the house and walk in.
Even though we didn't pre-organise our breakfast they accommodated us extremely well, especially as we had 3 kids aged 6,5 and 21 months.
very nice hosts. delicious breakfast!
The host was not very friendly.
Good place, friendly staff and good room plus bathroom.
Breakfast starting to late 7:30am although it said 7am.
very nice and helpful owners, simple but tasty breakfast, location in proximity to city centre
Wi-Fi was too weak for my iPhone, only laptop was able to pick it up. when outside is hot and windows are open - main road is loud (buses, trucks)
Their hospitality and helpful and friendly approach. Short walk from the sights.
a bit cramped in the dining room. But lovely breakfast. And smiles.
Brilliant location loved everything about harrys b b Comfortable. very friendly very clean & relaxing We have stayed a few times and would no hesitate to Book again would not go anywhere else
Good location within walking distance to town, street parking was easy to get and the breakfast accommodated gluten-free option (with no prior warning). The room was larger than any other place I've stayed in Cambridge (and this includes hotels) with all facilities for a business traveller (tea/coffee, ironing board, decent wifi. The owner is friendly and helpful.
Very friendly owner, lovely room, perfect service
Good access to city.
