Harry's Bed and Breakfast  

あたたかい、気さくな人柄のオーナーで、荷物を持って部屋まで案内してくれた。部屋は清潔で、中でコーヒー- 、紅茶、ホットﾁｮｺﾚｰﾄが飲める。2泊したが、飲んだ物、そしてクッキーまで補充してあった。朝食も好- みを聞いて作ってくれる。朝からお腹いっぱい。 ケンブリッジの中心まで歩けます。 B&Bから駅まで、ﾀｸｼｰで￡８以下でした。 We had warm hospitality. Our room was clean & comfortable. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and even cookies in our room were replaced every day. Breakfast was also good!! You can walk to the central Cambridge.

到着した時（夜8時になってしまったが）、ドアが閉まっていて、寒い中数分待たされてしまった。数軒先に住- んでいる様。緊急用の電話番号が国際電話になるので、掛ける時は+４４が必要です。 When we arrived (8 o'clock in the evening), nobody answered. We had to wait for a few minutes in cold weather. It seems they live in another house. We were in a panic as it was quite difficult to put their telephone numbers (we needed +44) through.

ハリーとおかみさん（イタリア系か）は、ヒアリングが苦手な日本人に配慮した明快な英語を話してくださるの- で助かる。都会のB&bらしく、客あしらいが- テキパキしていて頼もしい。男っぽいハリーのサービスで、運よく座れたベイウィンドウの席での朝食はすばら- しい。もしかしたらハリーは元軍人か。

都会のB&Bでもあり、また繁忙期に取れた予約なので、料金の割高感はやむおえない。Booking.comで表示された建物の位置は、道路の反対側だ- った。駐車場が3台で満杯、秘密の路上駐車場を教えてもらった。色々あるのがB&Bの旅なので、それはそれ- で楽しい思い出。

A good atmosphere and walking distance of the town centre. Nice full English breakfast.

Car parking consists of area outside the front of the house - room for 3 cars if parked considerately.

Clean apartment, friendly staff, and good breakfast. The location was ewithing a 20 min,. Walk of the city center.

Lighting was poor as there4 was no light for night reading in bed or in a chair. Towels were not changed and a few small things like milk for coffee were missed. The city does not provde any good info on the use of buses and city maps are confusing..

All very clean and comfortable, pretty and well-furnished room with great bathroom and in a useful place for us. Very friendly staff, great breakfast (included) and very quiet and relaxing place to be in

Shower wasn't very good

Helpful owners. Rooms very comfortable and warm on a very cold day. Good storage facilities. Close proximity to City Centre, easy walking distance. Very good breakfast, fresh and wholesome ingredients. Parking on driveway. Very useful seperate wc and washbasin in room.

No negatives. If I'm being picky, then maybe the shower area would be a bit small for a large person. Tight space.

Harry's was clean, warm, welcoming and just a short walk along the river into the heart of Cambridge. A lovely night's sleep in a comfortable bed and delicious breakfast in the morning.

It was a lovely relaxing place to stay the night.

The twin room was roomy. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and cosy. I loved that the street was quiet enough that we could open the windows for fresh air. The bathroom had enough water pressure and the shower was easy to use and roomy. The owners were friendly, very gracious and helpful as well. We were allowed to do our laundry there, for a small fee, which helped us out tremendously. The owner was very honest and asked if we had booked through booking.com and informed us that a surcharge could not be added to our hotel bill. I liked that there was a coded entry so that we could come and go as we pleased without worrying about whether the house would be locked or not. Really a great place!

Quiet and clean. Outstanding service.

When we arrived (late evening) there was a sign at the locked door instructing us to call a phone number to be let in. When I called the number the person said to ring the doorbell. I felt a bit sheepish that I did not see the doorbell at first. The proprietor came out immediately and helped assure we were comfortable.

Convenient for our evening river trip, and relatively short walk into the city centre. Excellent breakfast.

Natural light in the "lodge room" was a little restricted.

It was adequately close to the city centre. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Generally it was a convenient and comfortable establishment.

Shower fixture was broken. The tea bags provided in the room were truly awful. I'd suggest offering a better-known brand.
