Very good,

“ Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and the hotel was very clean. We were two, mother and daughter and before we came I wrote to ask for a room on the first floor because of the stairs and my bad knee. ”

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and the hotel was very clean. We were two, mother and daughter and before we came I wrote to ask for a room on the first floor because of the stairs and my bad knee. Our room was ready on the first floor. It was clean and comfortable and breakfast was just fine. We also liked having the outside door keys given to us, we felt more secure. I/we plan to stay here in our future trips also.

The Hart House Hotel is a lovely little hotel in the heart of London's Marylebone district, a stones throw away from the famous Oxford Street on one side and Baker Street on the other, perfect for a city break. Our room was freshly decorated and perfectly clean. Our window opened out onto the road at the front, but the provision of secondary glazing kept out the traffic noise. The staff were very friendly and helpful -- even knowing who we were when we arrived and bringing the key when we were met at the door on arrival. We picked up a couple of guides and maps from the hall on our first day which were very useful, even giving discounts to some of the sights and restaurants in London. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. There was a credit card surcharge added to our bill on checkout, but in the end we weren't charged it when paying with a Visa debit card. For a couple staying on a short pleasure trip breakfast only being served until 9:30am during the week was a bit early, especially after a late night in the town, but it at least meant that we were out to see the sights before most other tourists!

Location was fabulous for Oxford street shopping. Great value and a gorgeous cooked breakfast included. Definitely would stay again Nothing, however there are only stairs to the rooms which may cause hassles for people with mobility issues

Location is great. Very clean and well maintained. Good breakfast. Too many steps for my room (63) and I think slightly over priced which comes from the 4 star AA rating. Very good hotel but maybe not really 4 star.

It was very clean, convenient - 5 minutes walk to Oxford St - and not as quite as expensive as other London hotels. The breakfast was excellent. We stored our luggage for most of the day after checking out which was very helpful. We had a room on the top floor and there are quite a lot of stairs up to it.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Location is nice; it takes only 5-10 min to walk to Baker St station or Marble Arch station/Oxford street. We had no view outside as the windows faced a concrete wall; ask a room from upper floors. Breakfast room is quite small and some of the food was already finnished when we arrived so be early. If not, you may also have to queue for a table.

I feel the hotel still money with booking.com assistance. I had small and dark room on the 3th floor no elevaitor. Bathroom was 3 s.m and height of the room 2.1 m. In the end i paid 15 pound credit card commisions, in contract your didn't right it. It's not 4 star hotel. it's fraud. If your like it, i can send your a photo of the room and copy of the bill.

Excellent location, staff were nice. No air conditioning, very hot and stuffy the whole time we were there. They took a normal size room and jammed 2 twin and one double bet in it. Had two plugs so you were always plugging and unplugging everything. Worst of all, there is no lobby or anywhere to sit or read if you are not in your room.
