The hotel was very central to the shops & pubs. The Castle just across the road The room was very clean & comfortable
Nothing to dislike
Room Building Breakfast
No car park
Bar staff - very polite and courteous.
House-keeping staff -fair! Rooms not made up and cleaned until late afternoon.
The hotel Location is the hotels only plus point.
The hotel room although nice was very dark with a broken light fitting, and a light that did not work, all was reported and not rectified! Breakfast was very chaotic, with no managemnent on hand over see things.
The location was great and the style of the hotel was great.
In the room one of the walls needed painting and looked a little damp. No mini-bar
A lovely nights stay at this hotel. Staff friendly, great location, great value. Would recommend.
Location was excellent, staff professional and friendly.
Room was disappointing and quality of bedding was poor. Appreciate not all rooms will have a decent view but was unhappy with ours.
Very good location, nice , clean hotel. Nice helpfull staff( except one) Recommend the hotel.
One member of the staff at check out need to learn some basic polite lessons.
Location ideal for town
price of breakfast too high
The view The room
The noise - very loud both nights staying there.
Room slightly gloomy for a deluxe castle view room, although other rooms seemed to have larger windows.
The town house was fine but I would have preferred being insincere building or at least knowing in advance about town house
We traveled with 2 independent teens so the central location was perfect! Great hotel!
Great location right across the street from Castle. Plenty of shopping and restaurant choices. Quiet rooms for being so in the midst of it all. Easy to get to Castle Tour early before day trippers from London mob the place. Good food in the restaurant downstairs. Helpful staff. Nice Spa.
After leaving our luggage at the hotel, the Parking was quite a ways away. The stroll back had plenty of interesting diversion. It's an ancient town coping with lots of cars and busses and a multitude of tourists.
Excellent location for exploring Windsor
We had 2 big suitcases and the room allocated was down tiny corridors with stairs so we had to lift the cases in confined spaces. The journey to/from the room was terrible so my first impression was formed!!!!
I liked the view of Windsor castle and it was very relaxing and peaceful. Next time we come I might bring my children
I liked every thing.
Comfortable bed, huge bathroom. Across the Windsor Castle with a nice view. Easy to find, covered parking, from the council, 2 minutes walk. Great dinner and breakfast at nearby Duchess of Cambridge pub and restaurant. Daughter thought that was the Queen's bedroom. Still talks about it.
Great view of the castle and changing of the guards.
Parking a car is extra and has to be parked several blocks away.
Convenience Location Restaurant/Bar Breakfast Buffet (yum!) Coffee (take away - nice) Staff Will definitely, definitely stay again, next time I'm in Windsor! (But, will request a room with a view.)
Room 104 -- no view at all! I understand "Castle view" is very pricey, rightly so, but I had a view of nothing. Frosted window "look out" over an alley, I think?
Lovely hotel, located in the hart of Windsor. A stonetrow from the castle with many of the rooms looking on to it. Very large room, equipped with iron hair dryer and a kettle.... All you need for a comfortable stay.
The hotel is in an old building and we could hear the people upstairs from us very clearly... And was woken up by the, squeaking florboards. Also our shower was stuck on cold water, so we had to fill the bath for a wash instead.
Bathroom, Shower head needs cleaning Both sink taps need new washers Toilet needs New Flush Valve Toilet seat made of cheap plastic was the wrong size and Very loose. Towel Rail Heat switch need labelling
Location and service
Attention to detail, TV remote not working, extractor fan not working in the bath room, carpet frayed on the stairs leading to the room. No car parking
Great location to town and access to windsor. Went for a castle facing room which was brilliant
The cleaning staff couldn't speak English to ask for milk but only a quick walk to reception
Perfect in every way, room was splendid, bed so comfortable and the bathroom was like something from a movie!
Room 102 was noisy with trollies being moved around at 5am. The breakfast was cold, I was at breakfast the first day at 6.55, just as it was being set out, it was cold. The second day it was about 9am and it was cold again.
