No parking then having to park a long way away and expensive
Clerk at front desk was wonderful. Room was nice, if small.
Bathroom needed updates/maintenance. Shower head was horribly maintained.
The Central Location, close to Restaurants and pubs. Very accommodating staff and great breakfast
Wi-fi didn't work Shower head in bathroom was fixed therefore could not be directional and the proximity of the toilet to bath
Amazing view from our bedroom window of the castle, super location in general. Great staff.
The superior room didnt offer what was promised - no gowns or other luxuries, it was overlooking a noisy taxi rank and as the room was hot we had to have the window open for air. This meant a very disturbed night. Very soggy, colourless breakfast with bitter coffee just to finish off the disappointment.
Location, restaurant, friendly staff, spacious room, comfortable bed.
The standard of the room and bathroom did not quite match the hotel description. Hardly a "luxurious bathroom".
Small box room Sink next to bed tap not secure Toilet and shower on top of each other no sink in with them. Mold in the shower and wall of toilet. Needed a hoover hair in the sink and on the floor. Very noisy right next to the hotel delivery point early morning call wether you wanted it or not.
Fire door in corridor kept open with a wooden wedge Public areas could do with a repaint
Great location nice dining area and bar but rooms tired and dated desperate need of revamp
Poor service in dining room check in slow and tiny area
Ideal location opposite Windsor Castle. Comfortable and spacious room, easy check in process despite arriving early.
Very noisy outside room - it was a Saturday night but noise of people outside continued until 3-4am and woke us up continually. The room was very warm and we couldn't open the windows due to the noise. Otherwise the hotel was lovely, so perhaps ask for a room not facing the road if concerned about noise (but will lose out on the castle view).
location breakfast room size
no parking. distinct sewage smell when windows were closed. in proper advice regarding breakfast times for saturday/sunday.
Spoke with a member of staff who was incredibly helpful even though the reception area had been flooded they were more than happy to sort out my issue with my room and moved us straight away in to a much nicer room - couldn't fault the service!!!
The room we originally booked was terrible, the bathroom was the size of a cupboard (not an exaggeration) which didn't even have a sink in, you would of had to leave the bathroom and wash your hands in the sink in the bedroom - which was just odd and not really what I expect for the price!
location, room was clean and recently renovated.
no AC, ventilation through window with restricted opening. tended to be hot.
Location - amazing, just in a front of the Windsor castle!
For the amount you pay you would get way better hotel in centre of London. No biscuits (big loss:), bathroom is really small, and the hotel itself a bit outdated.
The room was clean and very nicely decorated
At midday on a Saturday there is not a car parking space to be had unless you park outside the city and get a taxi in. The room was in a separate building - we had to walk through the street and up 4 flights of stairs. The receptionist never once answered the phone when calling for room service. The Manager offered us a measly 15% off if we ever stayed at the hotel again by way of compensation. I will never go back to that hotel again!!!
No car parking - additional cost on top of room Carpets shabby
Traveling with a baby we booked a room (standard) when arriving we were upgraded to a room eith a bath and fantastic view of the castle staff were brilliant, breakfast lovely only 1 thing bad to say, Had a great stay with castle less than 100 yards away.
Night life outside rather loud when u have a baby
Lovely spa treatments and spa, castle view room was lovely, friendly staff and really perfect location for the heart of Windsor. Breakfast was of a good standard and was a reasonable price
Location was great
The room was dark and gloomy - we had no hot water - breakfast tended to be cold or luke wram. Staff seem not really interested in customer care.
we asked for a room with a view of the castle. for an extra 20 pounds a night we got an unbelievable view of the castle and guild hall. almost a suite, spacious, and comfortable. Most of the staff were very professional and helpful despite the oddities, great location central and comfortable. plenty of restaurants and bars for breakfast lunch and dinner, great international selection of places to go.
the wifi was not very strong connection (mainly n the bathroom in the bedroom) as well as the bar. we ordered 2 liquers and 2 coffees and waited over 30 minutes to be served, had to prompt the bar staff 3 times!! a couple of members of staff were not helpful and had a poor attitude ( maybe just having a bad day??) Make sure that you check your bill on the day of departure. I had been charged 94,00 pounds for a drambui instead of 3.20 !! Although the room was comfortable the room needs some upgrades. Double glazing on the windows, if not washed. stains on the wooden dressing table, the lamp shade was broken.
Excellent Staff. Improved our room when asked if it was possible. Best Location. Superb breakfast. Up until 11-00 am. Was a bonus. & thanks for lending us an umbrella. To get to our friends wedding as it was persisting down with rain
The complimentary wi fi was unusable in room 305 A mini fridge would be good
Good quality hotel in a good location
no parking - very difficult.
staff were very helpful and attentive. Comfortable rooms. We arrived late in the evening and they were on hand to help
night porter offered us breakfast vouchers when we had already paid for breakfast. Was that an honest mistake or a try on?
After to have a new room it was nice to stay there, and very nice people at work.
The first room: couldnt see out and couldnt open the windows. It wasnt aircondition. The windows need to be cleaned in the first room.
Location, polite staff.
For some reason, the published room service menu was not available, only sandwiches. Extremely poor service. Also, if your room number starts with a zero, you can get to it through the labyrinth or the servants entrance (where a stream of grease flows across the cobbles).
