The hotel was in great location, we did not use any of the facilities so can comment on them. The bathroom was nice and the shower amazing The rooms were very small. Although the room was very clean the windows were filthy making it look like a foggy day outside. . Only 1 pillow supplied. We had probably on of the worst nights sleep ever at 4.30 we were woken by workmen in the street erecting barriers, granted there was very little the hotel could do about that other than maybe warn us the keep the windows shut, it was a sheduled event so they would have know what was happening. This added to the fact every time the residents above went to the toilet everything could be heard. Overall for the price we were very disapointed and won't be staying again

We had a 5-week vacation from Florida, the Azores, Dublin, Glasgow, France, Cornwall & Yorkshire, U.K. & Windsor was our absolute favorite! Harte & Garter Hotel had a big impact on why we loved it so well. Our window overlooked the castle which was absolutely amazing. The location was within shopping & restaurants. The staff was so helpful & friendly. The hotel was beautiful & I loved the fact that it even had events such as a Mystery Dinner one night. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Windsor - it's the only one we would ever stay in. Just so delightful. We will be talking about Harte & Garter Hotel for many years to come.

Fortunetely I got one of the biggest room in that hotel, room no 207. But I understand that the other room is relatively small. The spacy room was clean, nice, and comfort. The staff were so friendly and helpfull. The food in the restaurant, was not really impressive. Location is perfect, in the heart of Windsor. Over all is Excellent. I will be back to this hotel.

It is positioned in the center of Windsor in front of the caste. This is a pretty renewed hotel. Breakfast is not included (but outside there are plenty of nice places where you can have it ;)

Location is excellent. My room overlooked the bins which were put out at 6am on Saturdsy morning. Tv remote didn't work. No shower cap provided. Lift broken but no one offered to help with my bag despite 3 flights of stairs. Have to pay extra to use Spa on Saturday and Sunday. This hotel is not value for money in my experience. I felt as if I was given staff quaters. I have stayed in over 40 hotels on the last 6 months and although this has one of the best locations it is one of the worst for value.

We stayed for 3 days without water in the shower. We told staff the frist Morning and they sent man to fix it, but he couldnt.. Second Day still not fixed and staff ment it was easy and promissed to sort out quick. Was offerd 30 £ off my Hole stay and a shower in another room on last night.. I could scream, it was like buying a car without seats. Bad bad service, they made us feal very small. Argh, i am still angry;( I love Windsor, but will never stay at Harte&Garter again, awful service on this point. They knew they couldnt fix the shower and then they should offer another room and deffently not charge me nearly full price.

Central Location, bright bathroom. The sink had separate cold and hot taps. I suppose that's quaint and vintage, but not preferred when you want warm water.

I recently stayed at the Harte & garter hotel to celebrate my Mother's 84th Birthday. From the minute we checked in the staff were friendly, helpful & gracious towards my Mother. The room was ideally situated on 1st floor close to lift as per request due to her limited mobility. The view was spectacular, with a balcony overlooking Windsor castle. On the morning of my Mother's birthday the satff presented her with a card & chocloates! A very kind & nice gesture. The customer sevice is exemplary & one the hotel managemnet should be proud of. I would defintely recommend & stay at this hotel again.

Central Location, huge bathroom. Nearest carpark is expensive (£20) overnight stay. The weekend was very warm and the hotel and room were unbearably hot. There was only one towel (despite being 2 of us) in the room and no mini bar. Although a call down to reception rectified that.

The only two good things were the location and the food in room service...everything else was terrible They lie about the room size and features. The spa is awful. All the male reception hosts were rude and acted As though the guest was inconveniencing them. They don't offer fridges or mini bars in any of their rooms Overall I wish I would have picked a different hotel This wasn't in any way worth the cash spent!!!

Convenience of closeness to train station 4 star hotel with no biscuits supplied to go with tea and coffe in rooms. Bar prices extremely over-priced My room was above the yard and they were moving metal cages around at ridiculously early hours of the morning e.g. 5 am Residents have to pay to use the spa !

Good location in Winsor. Close to shopping, restaurants and Castle. The room was less than I expected. Old windows, the desk was not very functional - too high and didn't fit with the chair. The sink had separate cold and hot taps. I suppose that's quaint and vintage, but not preferred if you want warm water. Also lack of shelf space in bathroom for toiletries.

The location There were insufficient towels and it took two requests to receive extra towels. The shower in our room was dreadful. It soaked the floor and even into the bedroom. Cannot believe previous guests had not complained we did. The staff need extra training - couldn't pour wine correctly amongst other things.
