The manor was lovely to look at, as were the grounds. The room we had been allocated was tiny, it was basically a single. The walls were dirty and there were lumps of plaster missing. We then requested another which was in Charlwood. It was the same, the only difference being that the bed was not shoved against the wall. I actually have pictures which I intend to put on trip advisor to encourage people not to stay. The carpet was stained, the walls were filthy, the dressing table glass had stains and finger marks all over it, even the mugs for tea and coffer had stains in them. The list of complaint is endless. Not a very nice experience. The Charlwood to me was more like old staff quarters.

The hotel was very quiet and in extensive gardens - all very relaxing. The main bulding very grand. Loved the breakfast and the dining room and all the staff were very nice and helpful. Thought the modernisations in such a gracious building could have been better and personally I would rethink the whole style of the place especially the"art" works dotted around ....ugh!

Rural, pleasant, very clean above average for this type of accommodation. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the facilities but for me the bed was too soft and on the small side. Fine for a young couple but at out stage in life we're both generously built for comfort not speed!

I got a great deal for £19 a night and at such a wonderful hotel set in nice grounds. Rooms were very comfy and well decorated. The pillows were too soft. The walls are thin and could here the couple next door talking.

The staff were very friendly and it was in a beautiful setting. The bed was right next to a wall making it feel very cramped and the bedroom was seemed very small. The rooms were not sound proofed enough so every time somebody walked past your room you could clearly hear every word they were saying as if they were in the room. This could be because we were in the annex and the first room along the corridor. The cooked breakfast was not hot and the serving plates were cold although the selection of food was very good.

Excellent location to get to the airport. Although a discounted price for a £60 room. There were no tea making facilities and the hotel bar and room service finished and closed at 6pm so we could not get food. However, we went to the local bistro pub which was excellent! The bed was also rather small and the telephone light was so bright it kept us awake for mch of the night.

I loved d comfort and peace Its location is very discouraging and eerie. It bothered me that I didn't have easy access to transportation also travelling to and fro the hotel was a frightening experience. Only if I mobility isn't a problem will I recommend this hotel.

Very simply put: the location.... And after a long day of activities, the bottle of argento wine from Mendoza and a lovely meal served by the sweet, smooth, simpaticissima and lovely Rebecca... Honestly her presence and efficient service in the restaurant added a lot to the location....and to my short stay at your hotel Just my stay... Too short....too short... Much to short

I liked its location and its rural feel. Our room was located at the end of the drive in the lodge and we had to walk a distance to get to breakfast.

Rooms were clean and as expected, location were easy to access and the nature around was perfect There was the main house, and a small building beside it, they didn't allow me and the family to stay in the main house, instead they gave us rooms far from the main building.

My family and I stayed there from 9th october to 1th october and we found the area in which it is situated very peaceful and quiet, the breakfasts were first class and the staff were found to be very polite and courteous at all times. My family and I were in the charlwood building and to me it seemed to be like staying in a building that was more suited to being an office block because of its style, we were,nt given a choice of whether we could stay in the manor or the lodge and it would have been nice tobe given that option, and at the time it was,nt that busy and at the time of booking it did,nt say we would be put in the other rooms, I think when you are staying in the charlwood building you should charge a different rate to that of the manor because its not as nice as the manor itself and therefore I think me and my family were a bit over charged for the rooms we had booked especially as it could have been raining and we had to walk across to the manor for meals, we were down there for a family funeral and this was the only thing that really spoilt it for us as we were expecting to stay in the manor itself and that would have made it a bit more pleasant for all of us. I have since looked up the prices for hartsfield manor and the prices are the same for all your rooms E.G. manor, lodge and charlwood building, it would be nice if we could have a rebate considering as the manor is a lot more attractive than were we stayed.

Everything was superb, the staff at the Hotel treat you very kindly. Dinner at the Terrace Restaurant was beautiful. My steak came exactly to order and dessert was just as delicious. Room Service was fast and they were very co-operative, delivering my personal request even though it wasn't on the menu.
