With unique views of the South Somerset countryside, in a peaceful lakeside, river and garden location, Haselbury Mill has beautiful historical buildings and superb food. The buildings at the Haselbury Mill Hotel date back to the time of William the Conqueror. They now form a beautiful hotel with 3 restaurants, 2 bars and function facilities. Most rooms are in the Georgian Mill House, carefully renovated to create en suite accommodation with free Wi-Fi internet. The original mill buildings have been sensitively converted into a stylish restaurant. Also here is a traditional bar with flag-stone floors and oak-panelled walls. The Granary building offers a lakeside bar and restaurant. Meals are created using the best, seasonal ingredients. It’s the aim of the chef to source all ingredients from within a 20-mile radius of Haselbury. The staff were absolutely delightful - everyone we dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - and again the service at breakfast faultless. We travel a great deal and I can honestly say I have not encountered such attentive service across all staff areas. Have already been recomending the hotel and would definitely return. Thankyou. Nothing - all superb!

Close enough to the factory we were visiting, but far enough away to meet and discuss the activities of the day. Because it was a business trip we did not get to enjoy the full facilities.

Staff are professional yet friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and were able to cater to my diet without fuss or question. My room was tiny with no mirror in the bathroom, how can you not have a mirror in the bathroom!!!!! Also the mirror in the bedroom was to high for me to see in it properly. There was no room for a desk so working was uncomfortable. Also the room was really cold.

Staff were incredible at Haselbury Mill and couldn't do enough for us. Food was exceptional and reasonably priced. The room (we were in the Coach House) was very clean and well located. Beautiful scenery and a wonderful stay away. We will be returning!

food/service excellent nice bathroom but cramped condition of room was poor/eccentric layout/no view/heating on timer/one bed light for two beds/kettle didnt reach the plug bar had little seating area all in all not worth the price

Setting was perfect, very relaxing and really unusual array of buildings. Hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean, well equipped and spacious. Could have done without the creaky bed ;) !

We were there for a break after a busy year.It was mid week so we knew we would not have any weddings to worry about. Most of the weddings at this hotel are week end affairs. The staff were friendly,nothing was too much trouble and they made our stay enjoyable.We were able to chill out and wind down.Its a pretty hotel,lots of history and in a really nice part of the countryside.Id reccomend it any day and we hope to go back soon.

The coach house room was spacious and beautifully appointed. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location is superb. Very peaceful. My wife is disabled and I have a couple of suggestions 1 you need to find a level entrance to the breakfast area 2 chairs in the garden would help (benches are not easy for disabled people) But these are minor - the Overall stay was fabulous.
