excellent location comfortable bed all the facilities you could require during a stay staff were very friendly willing to help in every way
This has been our 2nd stay and again we were very impressed from the minute we arrived till we checked out.I could not recommend highly enough.
food was lovely. good dine & wine deal.
Drinks are very expensive! Location is not centralised and therefore you cannot walk to other bars/restaurants.
Comfortable beds, good quality bed linen, friendly staff, excellent food, close to city.
Quite expensive, could do with some mood lighting in general areas and bedrooms. No bedside lamps for reading in bedrooms, colours throughout a bit depressing. Needs a little more warmth.
The Hotel Staff are very Professional, friendly and courteous. On arrival we were given a Free Room upgrade as we were returning for our Anniversary and had previously had our wedding reception at the Hotel. The Hotel itself has a warm homely feel about it, and it is a nice relaxing place to stay.
Nothing to dislike.
Comfortable high quality hotel. Good food in restaurant and excellent breakfast.
The breakfast is £15 if booked in advance and £10 if you pay on arrival. The shower is unbelieveably weak, extremely fine jets of water with no power an all. i suspect it is a cheap electric shower.
The staff, restaurant, bar and overall look and finish of the interior of the place was good.
The windows of the room leaked like they didn't exist at all. The traffic noise, cold air and moisture got in way too easily.
Comfortable hotel. Staff helpfull and friendly.
Not much life about it for a weekend(halloween) Too far out of city centre. Drink expensive ie. small glass of wine £4.75. Bar food quite expensive. Breakfast nothing to write home about. Could not get booked into City Hotel.
A lovely clean hotel with very pleasant staff especially reception who were very helpful when we were booking taxis into city centre which is just a short drive away
spacious comfortable room, friendly staff, good food, excellent breakfast.
Room got a bit cold in the evening.
Clean and close to Derry. Very good breakfast.
Impersonal hotel. A lot of traffic noise in our room.
Great Staff Fab Bed
No leisure facilities
Great stay at the Everglades
Some areas need to be repainted especially door frames
Stayed in this hotel a few weeks back for a weekend break in Derry, 5 mins from the town with lots of excellent bars and restaurants. My stay was very comfortable and relaxing staff where very friendly and helpfull, the pianist playing music gave the hotel a nice touch of class.
Staff made the trip really
No children's facilities
I liked the front of hotel and inside the main enterance , I liked the size of the room and the tv etc
I didn't like the fact we had two single beds pushed together to make a double bed when we though we where getting a double room . it was uncomfortable and I didn't like the fact yo only got one packet of buiscuts
Only tiny complaint I would have the towels are very small.
waiting and bar staff excellent room first class
menu heavy on fish limited choices late night receptionist could barely stop chatting to other staff to listen for request for early call to get flight call never came and receptionist denied being asked only just made flight
1. Staff excellent 2. Room very comfortable booked a single but was definately a double bed was so soft had great sleep. 3. Food so well presented and great value for money
Sunday lunch and everything except the statue.
The statue of the trumpet player with the broken trumpet next to the piano. It added nothing and I would not have wanted to play piano with him looking over my shoulder.
The bar man Finn is a gentleman, very friendly, it was my second time staying at the hotel. He was working both times, couldn't if been nicer
When we first arrived the staff were very friendly . The maids who tended the rooms were efficient and kept our room tidy
Going down to breakfast of 2nd day and being told our name was not on list and asked were we room only guests after standing about for a couple of minutes we were allowed to go for breakfast . I WAS EXTREMELY EMBARESSED One of the cups in the room was cracked
The hotel was very nice to stay at
They charged me a lot more per night than the rate I thought I was getting via Booking.com......I only realised when I got home recently and checked the paperwork. I booked online for 4 night room only @ £170, got charged 4 night room only @ £264. I trusted them to get it right, and they got it wrong.
Staff were fantastic and the hotel is in a lovely location. Very convenient for Londonderry - but far enough out to be quiet. Super comfy beds!
Too hot - the windows only open an inch or so - and it was the middle of a heatwave - but I think that's a rare event so wouldn't normally be an issue.
Lovely large suite and restaurant
Bathroom in suite was for a disabled person and water spilt everywhere.
