Run down room. Old furniture badly maintained. Shower curtain smelling and falling off the rail. Duvet too heavy for the time of year and no choice of pillows

Somewhat hard beds with what appeared to be rubber mattress overlays, a real turn off!

As in 2 above, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the hotel is comfortable and we got a good deal so it was great value for money. The facilities are good, the hotel is clean and, since we hired a car, the location was ideal. It was our first trip to Derry and Donegal and we will recommend the hotel to relatives and friends.

There is nothing that we did not like except we would like to have stayed longer. We might return some day though.

Checked in on Christmas Eve late and just missed kitchen but the very kind receptionist arranged a sandwich and a beer room service. Room was excellent warm, bed comfortable and a nice touch having two cupcakes complimentary.

The Hastings Everglades is a fantastic hotel and the staff are so helpful and friendly. Lovely hotel and I will be back for definite.

The Hotel and Staff are simply First Class. The Everglades is a luxurious Hotel where the staff are very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next stay at the Everglades.

The reception and bar areas were lovely and there was an excellent breakfast selection.

Situated outside Derry on the Strabane road so very easy to find with plenty of parking. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The restaurant food is passable and reasonably priced and the bar and lounge areas are comfortable places to sit. Staff were very helpful and polite.

There was a wedding reception on the night we stayed so service in the restaurant was very slow and there was noise in the corridors from wedding guests (why do other guests always have to suffer when weddings take place?). Having stayed 3 nights in the Europa Belfast before coming to Everglades I was dismayed to see almost an identical restaurant menu on offer. Although they belong to the same hotel group surely each should have individual dishes. We were also given damp napkins in the restaurant because 'there is a problem with the drier' - very strange.

Comfortable room, particularly the bed. Excellent food in restaurant. Loved the breakfast, locally sourced food, good choice and very tasty. Nice cozy bar area, relaxed feel.

Lacks a pool, gym, or spa.

Rooms are slightly dated but not bad. Hotel is located on a major road and is not air conditioned. It was a little noisey with the windows opened (and even with them closed.

Price of £ 6 per 90 minutes for internet access is extortionate in this day and age. Even for 24 hour this would be expensive. Would not recommend hotel for future unless this is drastically reduced.

Rooms were far too hot, no sleep for two nights!!! Breakfast seriously overpriced!!

Stayed overnight to attend Family Wedding locally. The Hotel was beautiful and the Staff were helpful and friendly.

Found it bit tricky finding the directions to the hotel so many roundabouts etc but this is not the fault of the hotel

by far the most friendly staff in Derry and we've stayed in nearly every hotel in derry. it was the reason we went back again this year.

Have stayed many times and would always stay there if we were in that area of n Ireland on buisness or pleasure. The hotel is comfortable, staff friendly and ghelpful and the packages avaiable good value
