Very clean and well preented, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. My only real complaint is the cost at £160.00 per night for a double room with breakfast. This may have been due to a hike in price for heltnam races. Although the whole package wa abo;utely fine, it wasn't worth the cost.

Clean and pleasant room, although the door had been badly damaged by being 'smashed' open: a poor repair had been carried out to both the door and frame. This did not create a good first impression. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. However Hatherley Manor feels like a conference centre rather than a hotel.

It is a convenient venue for a reunion dinner, where individual members of the group now live in areas all over the country.

A beautiful georgian country house, very tastefully decorated. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Excellent food. A lovely retreat! Clearly some previous guests had been smoking and left several cigarette ends just outside the window. This is no fault of the hotel though.

Our one-night stay prior to a Golden wedding was a very good idea. We were particularly imressed by the friendliness and efficiency of "Margeret" in charge of the bar. We felt very welcome and would like to commend her to you.

The food was good quality and we presented, The first room I was offered I refused, the second was poor due to the location in the hotel, constant noise from water noise through the pipework I slept in two hour blocks. Evening bar manager did not seem to know when needed to face the customer,

Myself and my partner went on a romantic night away and found the service considerable. The room are clean alot of furniture for the size of room we had. I would highly recommend for any couples. Also we had a look around the venue for a wedding and those who are thinking about getting married I would go and take a look at Hatherley Manor because its set in the countryside with a lot of scope for some beautiful photos. Just the morning service we had. One minute we had two members of staff asked what we wanted as soon as we sat down, then when we said give us five mintutes, 20 minutes later someone came to take our order.

Out of town location, chance to get away from it all. Relaxed in our room, feet up. Quiet. We stayed during 2011 Cheltenham Festival. Some guests thought it was too far from the racecourse, but my wife and I found it to be a perfect location. If your idea of the Cheltenham Festival is to stagger around town and fall into your hotel lobby, you'd want something more central. Taxi about £20 e/w.
