Score from 23 reviews Fabulous
location for the airport was a short walk . pleasant little room .was clean and just the job for a one night stop . would use it again ,
it was cold night in February but the heating was not sufficient enough to cope in no 6. and also could not connect to the wifi .
the lady was lovely and very helpful
that fact that it wasn't lit up so had trouble finding it had to go and ask in a pub , I was alone and a bit scared walking up and down the road looking for it at 10pm
The owner was friendly and welcoming and the venue is just off the Silver Zone roundabout, so very convenient. Despite this is was not value for money, even at £50 for the reasons stated, which is a shame as a little more attention could make a big difference.
The room was only big enough to walk around the bed & for a chair and tiny stand for tea, coffee, cups & kettle. Bed and continental breakfast was advertised; we were offered 2 lots of 3 different cereal packets, a carton of milk, a bowl & spoon to have in our bedroom in the morning. This is not a continental breakfast & the room was very small so you had to eat it on the bed. You needed the tiny fridge on to keep the milk cool but it was very noisy. We found the mattress & pillows too soft. Need bigger, lit signage as it is a fast road and driving at night it is hard to see where to turn.
It's so close to Bristol airport you could even just stroll along there with trolley cases. Free wifi, easy to use. Nice helpful staff. I can't tell a fib, the standard of the room is basic. From the bathroom tiles to the bed linen it's kitted out in not-very-posh equipment... But... The room had everything I needed, Tv, wifi, kettle, small en-suite. The other guests (largely working nearby) went quiet as mice before 9pm and the owners were super friendly. What do you want for 2/3rds the price of even Travelodge (and that's miles off). I would crash here again for an early flight.
Dust settling on rustic doors to room & bathroom. View very ordinary. Not much to moan about. Yes it's basic. I expected that though.
Stayed at Hathway house for 1 night prior to catching an early morning flight at Bristol airport. Hathway house is a mere 30 second drive from the main entrance to Bristol airport so is in an excellent location for this. Room was clean and comfortable, shower was hot and powerful. All in all was great value for money and does exactly what it says on the tin. Lady at check in was very welcoming and helpful. If you want all the frills and everything else that goes with a 5 star airport hotel then go elsewhere and pay their 5 star prices. Cannot fault this place one bit and would happily stay here again.
staff were very helpful, I arrived quite late and they were still there
finding the entrance in the dark was difficult as the sat nav sent us a route which no longer exists
Very close to Bristol airport so great for early morning flights. Handy pub opposite for evening meals.
Although there is sign to it off the road, I had trouble finding it. It was closer to the airport than I thought on the airport side of the Forge lodge.
Excellent if you are flying from bristol airport Cheap Parking also
Is is very convenient to the airport.
Close for airport. Pub across the road serves evening meals. Safe area.
Hard to park, no wake up call or alarm or breakfast.
Room very small No hairdryer
helpful, welcoming owners. comfortable bed. warm room.close to airport
Close to airport. 5min walk (OK if not raining!!) Reasonably priced pub with reasonable food nearby. Car rental next door. Clean and tidy room with good teamaking facility.
Poor reception on arrival.
Room was fine, with en-suite and coffee and tea available in the room.
Very difficult to find, no road name and only a small sign tied to a lamp-post which you cannot see whilst driving on a very busy road. A breakfast was included, which consisted of a bowl of cereal. I asked for toast as well, which they did not do. I ended up having no breakfast and had to buy this at the airport, considerably increasing the price of the overnight stay.
Room was pre heated
There was no light in the bathroom. When I took a shower the hot water turned off while my hair was full of shampoo and I waited at least 10 minutes to be able to go back in. Druing the night I heard noises of mouses but im not quiete sure if they were inside or outside. Horror especially when you on your own!
Very close to the airport so was acceptable for a one night stay.
They need to improve the signage as the house is down a tiny lane and does not look like a B&B.
Friendly, efficient staff. Breakfast cereals and milk provided in room due to extremely early check out. Comfortable and cosy room but spacious. Proximity to airport
having to pay for the taxi to the airport - £10 for a 2 minute ride seems very excessive, especially as it looks like the hotel provides this. Very small car park.
This Guest house is very close to the airport. as we had a very late flight back it was very convenient and the owner was there to greet us.
We felt the room was a bit cramped the on suite was ok but the door did not fit/close properly. We also like some fresh air- open the window a little and you get a lot of road noise and air traffic, only to be expected but as the bed was not the most comfortable, we could feel the springs, we didn't get a good nights sleep.
-excellent location-less than 10 mins walk to the airport- -pleasant welcome -very acceptable ensuite room -fast internet in bedroom. -tea / coffee making, breakfast cereal, pint of fresh milk! -a bit more character than the usual airport hotel Noddy-box Overall I felt Hathway was very good value for money and most convenient for car hire return and the airport.
Hard to fairly or reasonably criticise at the price, but some might complain that the bathroom was small, that its a bit tricky to find and that the mattress could be better...such criticisms should not colour my overall satisfaction with this guest house.
Booking confirmation email from hotel. Friendly, helpful reception, very convenient for airport, just a 10 minute walk away
Nothing. Fine for an overnight stay
Proximity to Bristol Airport. Staff friendly and helpful.
Stayed in a single room overnight. Room was quite small but as it was only 1 night it was not a major problem
Location was great as so close and no need for a taxi. Owner is really helpful and friendly. Clean room with plenty of tea and coffee. Can leave your car here while away for a small fee. Would use this place again but hope they improve the beds.
Mattress was poor quality.
Prime location. Lovely little room for one.
Small bit of aircraft noise
Difficult place to find. Parking also difficult.Very basic. Poor quality room. Bathroom door didn't stay closed. Wardrobe not deep enough for coat hangers.curtains so thin security light shone through them all night. Tiny portable fridge very noisy. Tiny mirror on wall too high for me to see in!!
