Score from 1769 reviews Wonderful
entrance and interior when go inside. breakfast.
room did smell mold a bit and if heaters were used proper humidity conditions would improve situation. plus light a bit too dark in cellar floor and no wifi
The staff was AMAZING! Location good as well. Free WiFi was horrible. If you don't expect much, this place will be great for you!
WiFi - poor signal Breakfast - more of a symbolic thing
Relaxed and casual approach to clients..
A neighbouring bedroom had a party going on till the early hours with music, shouting and banging!
It's a really good hostel, I don't have a bed word to say against it. 10 lads staying for a weekend in Liverpool and we love it. It was our second time we stayed becuase the first time we loved it and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Perfect for a weekend away with your friends. I will defiantly stay here again, £36 each for two nights! Plus a car park over the road what charges £4 all day. Honestly I can't sing its praises enough.
Not one thing
Rude staff on front desk and a lot of noise after hours. Was woken up by someone being sick.
Room was to small Service was not to nice, they let me a plugin adaptor with 5£ deposit and when I return the adaptor they want to charge 3£... No way!!! If I go again to Liverpool I will go to another hostel
Only liked the location of this place!
Most things! Staff rude on arrival, short changed, shabby interior everywhere, freezing cold with no heating in morning. Paid £65 for 1 night and the room was meant to be £82 - no way even worth 10% of that! Half empty beer bottles in window sills on stairs and pizza box left. Lift never worked and was on 4th floor! Total disgrace and I've stayed in formule 1 in liverpool which is a palace to this place!
We were wrongly charged for damage to property. The cleaners took the toilet seat off of the toilet after we left which we were then billed for. Also a dismantled bed side cabinet was left under one of the beds which we were also charged for.
5 minutes walk from town
average breakfast, poor cleaning staff
Good location for city centre.
Receptionists are very unfriendly!
A1 budget accommadation! Have stayed before and will stay again
Photo ID required at check-in was new to me
Location , value for money
The rooms were being painted when we arrived the room had paint tins and ladders , beds array and paint scrapings on the floor and the smell of fumes was awful, even when we were in the room the painters wanted to come in and carryon working
Had a great experience. Couldn't fault a thing Hatters
The breakfast is very good!
The bathroom wasn't clean!
The bed was so comfortable, the situation was great near the city centre and the train station. We will come back for sure.
If I would have to say something bad probably were that the room was a little bit small for 6 people.
The one main thing that stood out to me was that the staff didn't bother me or my friends, they left us off to do as we pleased with no complaints. Outstanding staff and I'll 100% be back.
I didn't like the weak wifi and not having fresh towels
bed very confortable, breakfast very good
a bit noisy during the night
i loved how the hostel was central to everything. It was so close we could walk everywhere
the room smelt a little off. But we got used to it after a while
Location, breakfast included, reception and bar were nice spaces
Walls were paper thin so we could hear every splash in the shower from our neighbours, who happened to get up at 6.30am on a Saturday morning! Needs new decor in bedrooms
poor wifi service, disconnect every 10 minutes. no connections in rooms. rooms are very small and messy, and the building is so old, feels like dirty everywhere. Breakfast is so bad.
Helpful pleasant staff. nice building
Noisy doors, people running wild and vastly overpriced
mattress too small for the bed size. mouldy curtains and damp on the walls. but as they saying goes you get what you pay for. definitely wouldnt stay here again we would stay at the Hampton by hilton or premier inn
Continental breakfast very limited
