The rooms were very clean
No iron or hairdryer
Beds comfortable ,staff helpful It suited us we were visiting family ,so could eat with them
Poor choice for breakfast .Access to room up some dicey steps ,could be dangerous if wet .Poor shower, room slightly grubby ,room not serviced one day
The manager was very friendly and helpful. Beds were new and very comfortable.
Although they said the place had recently been remodeled and the beds were excellent and comfortable, the building was very old and in need of structural repair. I thought there might be mold in the bathroom.
very basic facilities, nothing to say positive,
dirty looking room, carpet, doors were covered in dirt, no chair in the room no drinking water,
Like a chain hotel but with a personal touch.
Service Value for money Cleanliness Staff very helpful
Helpful staff. Clean and neat. Fairly quiet. Restaurant available although we did not use.
Nothing to not like though basic breakfast.
Convent location, good comfortable bed.
Breakfast not served till 10.00 am due to a function, not convient for us as we had to be in local church for a 9.30am christening.
Staff was friendly.
Vegetarian Curry dish portions were small for the cost.
Was visiting wales for a family get together and often visit wales for other events along with general weekend breaks. Was welcomed at reception very warmly, gentleman on reception noticed I was on a crutch and offered to change my room from first floor to ground floor. Needed an iron and and was promptly delivered to my room after asking at reception. Room very comfortable with large screen TV, lovely bathroom and free Wifi. Tried the bar and was welcomed warmly again along with table service. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience and will be staying there again
Poor location picture in the advert was not true representation .hotel run dawn
The Food was good in the restaurant, but not a varied choice on the cost
Craftsmanship of the room fit out. Poor
staff were polite and helpfull
The Hotel was similar to a motel style, we were checked in by Bal who was really helpful and approachable. The room was airy and clean. We were hungry on arrival and ate at the restaurant. The food was amazing. I had the best curry ever i had a chicken curry and my husband had chicken tikka balti- well impressed. I would recommend the Haveli hotel and also the restaurant.
the hotel accommodation was clean and comfortable,
The toilet seat was broken and the bedside lamp kept shorting out. A for the staff we only met one, who gave us the key to the room. The worst thing about out was the food we had in the restaurant, quite the worst indian meal we have ever had and I have traveled a lot
Nice. Staff.good for trains into cardiff
The room was clean and a good size, it was well furnished. The man on reception was friendly upon checking in. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The hotel was in a strange location, it seemed to be in the middle of an industrial estate with no local amenities such as a shop. The restaurant was ran very strangely, there was a takeaway menu in our room but upon ordering we were told we had to order from a different, eat-in menu which was considerably more expensive. After a long wait we were then told the food we had ordered was no longer available.
Rooms were excellent. Clean, tidy, well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom spotless. Bar was cheap.
If you're not travelling by car, it's a bit out of the way. Not the best restaurant I've eaten in, but ok.
Not 24 hour reception Shower didn't work I had to tell them how to switch it on.
Although it is a motel type setting in an industrial estate the hotel was close to the m4 which is what we needed. Also the rooms were big, clean and comfortable. We had a very lovely indian meal at the restaurant too. Excellent value for money. We were impressed.
Very comfy and clean beds, a warm welcome and helpful staff. Just what we needed for a one night stay for a sporting event.
Bathroom needs a little bit of redecorating
Bathroom needs retilling.
Te friendliness of the staff. The willingness of the breakfast staff to make me a breakfast to meet my needs.
Lack of choice at breakfast. Only white bread. No fruit.
it was close to the venew we were going to
health and safety was an issue the externel stair leading to the first floor rooms were slippery, missing tiles on the steps, the handrail and balustrading didnt meet health and safety standards as the had very wide gaps that could lead to children falling through them. There was gaps between the bath and tiles that caused water to leak through, the toilet seat hinges were broken which made the seat very unsafe. the bar had limited drinks and very expensive. we wont revisit this hotel.
Very Little, the pictures are evidently very old before the place closed down and re-opened.
The owner is pleasant however the rooms - supposedly refurbished- were poor the electrics faulty, water pressure too low to operate the hair wash unit on the bath and the shower leaked from inside the box. We had three rooms - all the same size one supposedly a family room just had two double beds squeezed in instead of one. The description says room with balcony it does not say the "balcony" is actually the only way to get to the room and is in actual fact the walkway on the external first floor, the third room had a melted carpet and no control handle on the sink tap. Breakfast consisted of a choice of cornflakes or muesli from Tupperware boxes on the single table with an open jug of orange juice and a jug of milk also "butter" in unwrapped chunks in small dishes tea or coffee sachets with a thermos of warm water plus a cooked English breakfast. We left after the first night and were told that we should have spoken up and they would have changed the rooms, we had complained on arrival and were told that there were no other rooms and anyway the place was so dangerous we were not going to stay anyway. My elderly mother had to walk up and down a flight of stairs with so many missing and damaged tiles they should not have been open.
