This friendly guest house is situated in a quiet, but convenient area of Torquay. It is just a 10-minute walk from both the sandy beach and the conference centre. The Harbour and Princess Theatre are just 15 minutes' stroll, along the beautiful esplanade. A home-cooked breakfast is made fresh to order each morning in the light, wooden-floored eating area. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building, and free parking on site. Each modern room at Haven House has an en suite shower room and simple, elegant décor. Freindly staff, good location, great breakfast Room bit on small side, shower kept tripping out when used and had to be reset at fuse box, sani-flo toilet would not flush properly

The room had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable, hairdryer, shower gel, liquid soap, tissues, tea/coffee making facilities, television. The breakfast choice was the best we have ever had, especially the yogurt. We also enjoyed a peaceful nights sleep. There is nothing we could find fault with.

very nice hosts and location was ok small room and very very small shower cubicle wash basin was only a cloakroom hand basin the room was very tired and a bit scruffy wallpaper peeling off the wall in a couple of places the pelmet over the window was unbelieveable a piece of very roughly cut hardboard with a piece of material stuck on it the window blind was white which let all the light in so about 5.30am the light pours in and woke us up and the view was a brick wall a very disappointing stay would not stay there again not in that room

The staff were very friendly and hospitable. They were also helpful with ideas for things to do and places to visit during our stay. The food was excellent and the cleanliness of the hotel was extreemly good - we would definitely stay there again.

Bedroom was comfortable. The owner was very welcoming and helpfully answered all our questions on the local area. The breakfast was lovely and we would definitely recommend staying here. Bathrooms in a standard double room are on the small died

All in all this Haven House is all you need in a bed and breakfast.....good beds, clean, great location, marvellous breakfast and a hostess that would do anything for you. We will be returning.

Warm welcome when I arrived, little touches such as a bowl of sweets at the door and a collection of books available to guests. Comfortable room and a substantial breakfast. Located within walking distance to train station and coach station. I would be happy to stay at Haven House again.

Friendly, clean, handy location for town and seafront Website said check out by 11am but it was actually 10am breakfast between 8.15 and 9.00 a bit restrictive if understandable

Friedly, helpful and clean. Excellent shower. Limited time in which breakfast available. 8.15 to 9.00. Particularly as this was a Sunday. Not conducive to a relaxing weekend.
