Stayed in room 11 which was lovely and comfortable,had 2 great nights of sleep.Breakfasts had plenty of choice and tasted wonderful.

Couldn't fault a thing!

Great location within walking distance of both Windemere and Bowness. Helen, Phillippa and Trevor all pleasant and helpful. They even took us through the kitchen at breakfast time to see the Deer in the woods at the rear of the property. Our room was beautiful and peaceful and looked onto the wood and stream at the rear of the property. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Able to use spa/gym facilities at nearby hotel. All in all excellent place to stay.

Absolutely Fabulous! A wonderful welcome by very attentive staff was followed by the introduction to a very clean and comfortable room. Nice attention to detail throughout. Excellent well cooked breakfast with lots of choice. Highly recommended in a very competitive area.

Absolutely nothing!

Very clean, modern and comfortable and within 10 minutes walk of both Windemere and Bowness town centres. Excellent level of service by staff.

Welcoming, helpful and courteous staff. Good parking facilities. Contemporary decor. Comfortable beds. Generous breakfast. Plenty of local information.

The Staff were wonderful, we had to cut our stay very short due to an emergency at home, and they dealt with it in a very professionally, and didn't make us feel a nuisance in any way. We are planning to return as soon as possible, it is a lovely guest house, breakfasts were fantastic, and everyone was helpful and friendly. Location is great, half way between Bowness and Windermere.

Clean, modern, comfortable rooms. Helpful friendly staff. The breakfasts were cooked to order and delicious. This was the best bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in. Excellent value for money!

We chose this guest house after reading the reviews on trip adviser. on arrival we were greeted with tea and shortbread, given tips of the area and taken to our room, we could not of wished for a nicer room ,breakfast was perfect and served by friendly people. Perfectly situated , you can walk to the lake and shops. We will return if visiting the area again.

Modern style, very clean and well maintained. Smart grounds with good sized carpark. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked to perfection. Faultless!!

The friendly staff, lovely breakfast and the spacious room. Hotel is located slightly above the road level that it has compartively good privacy & quietness.

The use of traditional key to lock/unlock the door of room 8 is a bit hindered by the thick door frame.

The service, staff, breakfast and cleanliness were amazingly good. I'd thoroughly recommend hawksmoor guest house.

the service and food was excellent. the room we stayed in was lovely. spotless with a wet room complete with under floor heating . ideal position for visiting Windermere area and planty of parking.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful at any point during our stay. I liked the weekend specials for the breakfast and the flexibility of what I could have. Hawksmoor is ideally located between Bowness and Windermere with only a 5 min stroll to get to either.

The bed was a little too hard but that really is pedantic!!!!

Excellent B&B. Modern room, very comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfasts were amazing and all the staff friendly and helpful. Good location, only 10 minute walk to both Windermere and Bowness. Staff recommendations for local dining spot on - had great meals in both Windermere and Bowness. Would definitely come back - highly recommend!
