With an atmospheric charm, the hotel has parts dating back to the 18th century, and offers 2 restaurants, cozy bars, a croquet lawn and a professionalism that is second to none. Hawkstone Park has a reputation for fine food. Good, wholesome, traditional food and lots of it is the order of the day in both restaurants.

The Terrace Bar & Restaurant, situated in the Golf Centre, commands panoramic views of Hawkstone's two 18-hole golf courses and the Follies Park beyond.

The Hawkstone Restaurant is elegant, spacious and situated in the heart of the hotel. It offers a set dinner menu with a choice of extra dishes, and its sumptuous Sunday lunches are well known. Please note the Hawkstone Restaurant operates a dress code: t-shirts and tennis shoes are not acceptable, and only nice jeans may be worn.

In the Terrace Bar & Restaurant, tasty meals are served during the day, year round, and in the evenings during spring and summer. The Terrace provides a less formal style of dining than the Hawkstone Restaurant.

Situated in the medieval town of Shrewsbury, the hotel is surrounded by the market towns of Whitchurch, Market Drayton and Wem.

Ironbridge Gorge Museums: 25 miles – Site of the world's first cast iron bridge, and 10 museums spread across the valley by the River Severn.

The facilities and grounds are excellent and are one of the best I have stayed at in the uk The electric showers are very noisy in the rooms and when another guest decides to shower at 2am it disturbs your sleep.
