Just across from the Queen's College playing fields and a 10-minute walk from the center of Oxford, the Falcon B&B is housed in 2 late-Victorian town houses and offers views of the college boathouses....

Couldn't fault a thing! we would be happy to stay again.
Lovely Room Very comfy bed Fab breakfast Not too far out of Oxford Centre Onsite free parking
Nothing to dislike
location, quiet room
Large room, very clean hotel, lovely big breakfast room with great selection food, superb customer service from all staff encountered, wonderfully comfy memory foam bed. Great experience all round.
No air con
Location, as a pleasant walk a long the Thames towpath at Iffley lock. Bus route easy coming back after a day exploring Oxford. Coach House accommodation was good.
Bathroom tiles very cold a small rug might have helped.
Excellent service from all the staff Very good choice of menu at breakfast Very clean and well maintained rooms Good access to Oxford City Centre by local bus
Very dark in the car park at night for rooms in Elm House Soft mattress on the bed
quietness, location, staff, lovely large room with stand alone bath and the ambience.
price and bed if you ask if you would like something then make sure it is delivered (paper) and then do not charge for it. £30 off bill did not really cut it for sleeping in a bed with springs poking through. Food was adequate, location of room some way from reception very poorly lit.
Clean, quiet, great location
Expensive, small room
Stayed here before, better first time than second. Staff were very average.
It just seemed staff were going through the motions. Not good - not bad - just there.
Very nice breakfast was included
Too far from the city center
Spacious room, comfy bed and excellent cooked breakfast. Waitress at breakfast particularly helpful.
Booked a twin room but in arrival was double. Hastily fixed but should have been right first time. Car Park tricky to manoeuvre in. Old fashioned keys not great with a small handbag on a night out.
Excellent, really lovely food, and staff very helpful and pleasant but lacked training on the finer points. Hotel in a delightful position and easy reach once we had found it, but spent time going round and round as the sign on the hotel was not illuminated and we missed it in the dark!
Our bedroom was over the kitchen and althought the extractor fans I think they were, did go off it was worrying on the first night. For us the beds were too hard, otherwise a very comfortable room and everything we needed.
The rooms staff and hotel were excellent. The TV had Sky Sports which was good. Very clean and newly decorated.
We didn't have a window (only casement doors opening onto a public path) so the room was hot at night.
Position. Walking into Oxford
Restaurant. Untrained staff
Location, Cleanliness, Great staff
Excellent location for Oxford with a riverside walk into the city. Staff welcoming at reception, dining room and as you passed in corridor, always a cheery smile.
Thought one sachet of shower gel and one shampoo was a bit stingy for two people and no toothbrush mugs. This seemed out of keeping with standard of rest of hotel. When I stayed before I'm pretty certain the toiletries were of a higher quality.
Large comfortable modern room with a good sized bathroom and separate shower. A good sized bright and modern restaurant, breakfast was great.
Because the breakfast experience was good we thought we would have dinner there,a big mistake ! My wife had a thai curry (nuclear green) I had fish chips and mushy peas it arrived without the peas and burnt literally to a crisp chips. Not good.
Food very poor everything either under or over cooked
Good, quiet location. Room comfortable and clean. Restaurant very welcoming decor and evening meal beautifully presented and good value. Open fire and seating area an inspired touch. Always a pleasant here. Thank you.
Just one receptionist who came across as very abrupt. Please ensure all staff understand and grasp English grammar when writing or clarifying information for guests.
Bed was very comfortable, thick memory foam. Housekeeping staff very accommodating. Hotel nice and quiet as in a village situation, a short walk to the bus stop for buses into Oxford city centre. Day Rider bus ticket £4.00 or a day return £3.50
Rooms too warm, we have always found this with Hawkwell House, on the second day I asked Housekeeping for a sheet to sleep under as well as the duvet. This arrived as promised, if UK hotels do not have air con this is the only way to keep cool at night. This time our room was fairly small, rooms are all different sizes. Reception staff very impersonal.
Good evening meal
No real ale in the bar, which was cold and unwelcoming - it seems most guests use the pub down the road.
Quiet location. Nice big comfortable bed. Courteous staff.
Difficulty finding a parking space.
Rooms, bar & dining room really good.
Just an awkward distance for walking into the centre of Oxford
The coach house, 314, was excellent!
Scrambled egg breakfast resembled orange porridge! And the salmon had brown bits on it...put me off!
