A lovely,friendly place to stay,will def return!!

Being told by the staff on arrival that they do not welcome groups of young adults and had they known they would not have allowed us to book. This was the moment we walked through the door, before even being greeted with a customary hello.

The staff at Hawthorn House were lovely and the accommodation was clean... My friends and I would happily stop there again.

Everything was absolutely lovely!

Lovely friendly welcome and comfortable, well decorated ,clean rooms. En suites spacious with heated towel rails. Plenty of tea and coffee provided in room!

Every thing was very clean and the staff was friendly Would defiantly stay again :)

Would have been better if they did breakfast but there's a good cafe round the corner so I couldn't complain.

Owners very friendly and welcoming. Excellent location, close to main attractions. Very clean. Great room, beds really comfortable. Space invaders,games and wi fi for kids. Would definatly stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay at hawthorn house. I was with my friend and her young children and with my young children. There were games in the bar area for the children to play with. This kept them amused while me and my friend relaxed. the rooms were excellent spotless and neat and tidy. The guest house is only 1 minute from the hussle and bussle of it all, but quiet enough in the evenings to get away from it all. Would deffinatly recommend it to any one.

i would have preferred a breakfast even if it was only toast , tea and cereal, but thats my only point.

Fab hotel

Clean, warm accommodation, a nice welcome from the proprietor. Liked the fact that there were no rowdy gangs of men. The bar man was friendly and offered good local advice about local amenities. Secure, reasonably priced car parking a couple of streets away. It was centrally located for all that Blackpool has to offer tourists but well away from the main strip therefore avoiding the noise during the night. It had nice decor that was up to date clean and modern and was non smoking. The bar area was welcoming and drinks reasonably priced. There were three of us and we all got a front door and room door key so accessible 24/7. All in all thoroughly enjoyed the room for the short break that we had. Pity breakfast wasn't included in the price!

Minor comments but as I have the opportunity to mention them: towels smelt a little fusty. It would have been nice to have some shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries on as they didn't like the sink side and ended up in the sink itself. A hook on the back of the bathroom door would have been useful to hang up a bathrobe etc. but as I say, minor things that didn't spoil our stay.

Room was very clean and whole place was very modern. Owner Sharon was friendly and helpful.

Clean bedrooms and bathroom, booked a family room for 2 adults and 3 children which was fine. Enough room.

The location for parking, had trouble trying to find a car park, which was expensive to park for 24 hours. Wouldnt stay for more than 1 night. Also would have been better if they did breakfast.

Myself and my grandson booked in for two nights. What a lovely place to stay and the owner is so helpful and friendly. We had a lovely room, small but spotlessly clean with quite a large bathroom Tea and coffee making facilities. The guest house was in a good spot, close to tower, shops, beach front etc. All in all a lovely two days, my grandson loved it.I have already recommended this guest house to friends and family.

the welcoming atmosphere and the owners were excellent and made us feel so welcome and couldnt do enough for us also the decoration and cleanliness of the room was first class.
