This is a lovely b&b set in the heart of South Queensferry with easy access to the city of Edinburgh. The staff are warm, genuine people and I felt very welcome here. The accommodation itself is set in a quaint cottage-like building, above a popular cafe/bistro. Needless to say, the breakfast was extremely tasty with a good range of options available. The room was modern, yet homely and there were some nice touches: iron/ironing board, small fridge, etc. Also, everything was spotlessly clean. A very enjoyable stay indeed.

This hotel is awful, its a hole, its a cafe with rooms above it and to get to the rooms you have to go past kitchen, through the middle of the cafe and climb over boxes etc to get up the stairs, only one person at a time can go up the stairs. Our toilet roll holder was snapped off the wall and the shower pole was broken aswell. The bathroom was somwthing else, could not fit in door as shower and toilet were right behind it.DO Not stay here..

The view from our room was fantastic - the room was stylish in the most part. My husband had the full cooked scottish breakfast and said it was fantastic. The bed was extremely squeeky. The breakfast menu offered a range of options including a continental but they had none of components of that breakfast option which my son wanted - not even cereal (although the owner did pop along to anothter hotel to borrow some! - no croissant though). I don't think she should advertise things she can't deliver.

Nothing apart from the view from the window to the bridges Everything apart from the views of the bridges. It is nothing like a hotel or boutique hotel. It is a cafe with rooms above. You have to go outside to enter the cafe (with 4 tables) for breakfast with customers coming in and out all the time and definately not relaxing. Bedroom was warm but bed very very creaky so no sleep was had. All very disappointing as we really loved the nameand thought it might be something special.

Excellent location in regard to the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh. Within walking distance of the Marina at Port Edgar and all its sailing facilities. My room was comfortable and the bed pillows/duvet were a treat, unlike the pillows at many hotels. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice, large room. Warm with decent bathroom. Good breakfast. The only problem with the one night stay here, as mentioned on other comments, the road noise. The room was on the front and the noise from the street outside was enough to wake me.

Room was small but perfectly set out, clean and comfortable. Window was slightly ill fitting so could be draughty and rattled a bit during the night with only a slight wind. Not really a bad point just an observation

Good size bedroom and bathroom with excellent views of the Forth Bridges as requested. Excellent choice of breakfast served earlier than normal by request. General noise from the street below was a negative feature but we had requested a front facing room so this is not a complaint!

Great breakfast, friendly staff, historic location. The owner operator stayed up up forus to arrive at midnight and was sweet and perky at breakfast. We had a hard time finding it becaause its in a very old part of town very near the bridges. Please be aware it is a tea shop and small inn few rooms.
