Very nice room, nice breakfast, good location, although a bit of a trek from the railway station [Dalmeny] on foot, Very nice and friendly proprietor. As a solo traveller the cost was very reasonable. If I'm in need of a room in that area again it will be the first place I would check.

It is an old house with a lot of character and the owner, Moira Cunningham is a delightful and helpful person. She accommodated to our needs and provide us with world-class attention. The hotel is close to many restaurants and provides a great view of the South Queens Ferry bridges. Excellent location for photography, touring around or for a short visit to Edinburgh, as in our case.

Room was comfortable, clean and modern. Breakfast was very good. My friend stayed in a family room which I am told was cold despite the heating and the bathroom was freezing, the view from this room was excellent. The view from my own room was not.

I was attending a wedding in The Orroco Pier (which was fully booked with wedding guests) & I couldnt have pick a better place to stay than the ravenous beastie. It is right across the road from the orroco pier, i could watch the wedding party arrive from my room window so great location with your own privacy.

Excellent location in regard to the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh. Within walking distance of the Marina at Port Edgar and all its sailing facilities. My room was comfortable and the bed pillows/duvet were a treat, unlike the pillows at many hotels. Would definitely stay there again.

Room was small but perfectly set out, clean and comfortable. Window was slightly ill fitting so could be draughty and rattled a bit during the night with only a slight wind. Not really a bad point just an observation

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the owners and staff are very polite and welcoming. The flexabilaty of the breakfast menu is not clearly stated... i.e beans and eggs are not stated on the menu Also your site stated full english inluded in price, but Beasties menu states Full scotish breakfast.

This is a lovely b&b set in the heart of South Queensferry with easy access to the city of Edinburgh. The staff are warm, genuine people and I felt very welcome here. The accommodation itself is set in a quaint cottage-like building, above a popular cafe/bistro. Needless to say, the breakfast was extremely tasty with a good range of options available. The room was modern, yet homely and there were some nice touches: iron/ironing board, small fridge, etc. Also, everything was spotlessly clean. A very enjoyable stay indeed.

Good size bedroom and bathroom with excellent views of the Forth Bridges as requested. Excellent choice of breakfast served earlier than normal by request. General noise from the street below was a negative feature but we had requested a front facing room so this is not a complaint!

Leaving! Though to be fair the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. I was misled regarding accessible parking...it was not as close as I expected. Walking past overflowing noisy pubs at half eleven at night to get from parking to hotel was a bit scary. Room was cheap nasty and not clean (bed sheets were clean though had not been ironed.
