A small and very friendly hotel in the heart of historic South Queensferry. Great breakfast and large comfortable room. Parking very limited but you can park on the streets overnight.

Very friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. I had a very clean comfortable room at the top of the house and a good view of the two bridges. Nice to come back to after a day's work. I had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi but travel with my own dongle anyway.

The landlady, Moira, was very friendly even when I arrived much later than scheduled due to bad weather on the way. The room was small, but had what was needed, and the breakfast was good. The bed was ok, but could do with some padding. The room could do with some updating. No view from room no. 3.

I was taken to a family rom even thught there was only me. I could hve had a party in both bedroom and bathroom. I was not keen on the position as on the High Street but no problem with noise and I stayed at weekend.

I liked the quaint exterior. Cooked breakfast. Bath towels not very big and not soft. Shower riser had red tape wrapped around it so you couldn't adjust height. Lukewarm reception at breakfast/checkout not very welcoming.

Location ; large choice for Breakfast ; amenities in the Bedroom; friendliness of the owner [ Moira]; comfortable and warm bedroom; ability to be able to park next to the RB or very close by. Great views of the Firth of Forth Bridge and a excellent selection of places to eat during the evening. Very close to the Airport AND to major motorway connections. Great value for money ! I know where to stay on my next trip to Edinburgh !

Availability. Location was outstanding. Staff is friendly. Food was good. Price was competitive with other guest houses where I have stayed, but more expensive that full-service Hotels in the U.S.

The rooms were of high standard with everything you could possibly need for your stay - including a fridge, a mini safe, flatscreen TV, Ironing Board, Iron, Hair Dryer. The decor in the room was warm and created a relaxed atmosphere. The beautiful sash windows, upholstry, lamps and tasteful floral spriggs really added to the feeling. The bath products were all eco friendly which I really appreciate. I would recommend staying at the Ravenous Beastie to anyone who appreciates a warm and comfortable stay. There was nothing I did not like about the rooms at Ravenous Beastie.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Big cosy pillows which were very welcome after my flight. Would recommend. A little too far from my work, which is a shame as I would have liked to stay here next time.

Landlady was very friendly and helpful. Due to my early flight instead of breakfast the landlady made me a very nice packed meal of 2 filled rolls, a Danish Pastry and a carton of drink.
