Haymarket Hotel

Do sossego, da qualidade da cama, da facilidade de acesso que a entrega da chave da rua ao cliente permite

Acho que neste Hotel, como em quase todos os ingleses, os empregados devem ter o cuidado de perceber que a sua língua, no contacto com os clientes,deve ser usada lentamente e com dicção excelente

The hotel was very convenient to the sites (Castle, Palace etc)which was the reason we came to Edinburgh. The hotel was basic but comfortable and the staff were helpful.

Great location, nice looking comfortable rooms when you can get in them. All but one of the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Lock on room faulty, could not access room even though we had the key. Were blamed for this and no solution (ie. emergency lock smith) was offered. Eventually got a new room (12:30 am) but couldn't get our luggage for an event the next morning.

Its very cold and the heaters were not working, although we came in the beginning of november

Bed very comfortable. Room nice. Close to local bus stop.

Bedlights too dim to be able to read in bed. Cold water in bathroom sink was very warm.

central location, well equipt spacious room.

you could come and go as you pleased. the staff were very freindly and helpful. breakfast was great.

The hotel is in a carefully restored older building on a picturesque street near the Haymarket Train station. Everyone was exceptionally friendly & helpful. I had the single room, and it was simply perfect for one person. (two people could have managed as well) I was expecting a typical continental breakfast, but was pleasantly surprised, when I discovered that in addition to the continental fair, full breakfasts were also 'made to order'. The hotel truly met & exceeded my expectations. (especially for a place rated as a 3 star hotel) I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Edinburgh.

I really can't think of any negatives from my own personal stand point. The only thing that some people might want to consider, is that the hotel is located a little away from the center of Edinburgh (lovely 20 minute walk), with public transportation downtown just a 'hop, skip & a jump" from the hotel. Personally I prefer this sort of location as it's much quieter & generally better value for my dollar.

We did like the hotel location because we did not have a car and we were able to walk everywhere. We did like our nice and clean room.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable room. A good breakfast. Very convenient location for Airlink bus, rail station at Haymarket and modern art galleries nearby.
