It was very comfortable and very cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we were made to fell very welcome by Chris the patrone. Its a place you would easily come back again. The location is ideal and not very far from the town centre. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. Minor irritation was the shower which was not very powerful and turned cold if the hand basin was used. But in fairness we knew that from the reviews we read. |

It was really nice to book a hotel on line and it live up to the photos. Every thing was as it looked.. probably better in fact. Although our room was absolutely lovely,i would have liked to have stayed in the "main" part of the hotel as our room was in an extension and seemed dark most of the time, |

Warm, friendly welcome. Hotel is clean, bright and tastefully furnished with good parking and attractive grounds yet within easy walking distance of the harbour area. Breakfast service and food were excellent Steep stairs to 2nd floor could prove difficult for anyone with impaired mobility. Room was somewhat small for a 'double' and the shower temperature a little erratic. All minor items which would certainly not put us off staying again or recommending what we found to be an excellent hotel. |

We found it very clean and within walking distance to the town. Only that our room was perhaps a little small. |

Friendly staff Room was small and decor too much of a nautical theme. The bedside lights were unsightly and dominant. |

We used it as a base to travel around the Torquay area and visit one of the local excellent resturants. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the staff helpful but not intrusive.Would certainly go again. Nothing at all- it was perfect. |

Although up a hill it is an easy walk to torquay town centre. It is very clean and comfortable. The shower was poor, low pressure and varied from hot to cold every minute or so, however other rooms may be better. |

A well run little Bed and Breakfast, perfect for our weekend break. Located on a quiet side road, this hotel is a short walk from the harbour area, (the road is on a slope so it may be a harder if a member of your party has mobility challenges). The room we stayed in was modern, clean and well aired. The Breakfast menu (available between 8:30 and 9:30am) offered the usual Full English or continental choices; the food was well prepared. I would stay there again. |

All of the staff were very friendly and couldn't do more for us. The hotel is spotless from top to bottom and the breakfast was fantastic. The beds are so comfortable and the linen as soft as can be. We also liked that this hotel had on-site parking as many of the hotels/B&B's in Torquay don't so it made staying there easier. The shower in our room was very small and although it was a power shower the water went from hot to cold constantly. This is the only complaint I would have about this hotel and maybe it was just our room. I forgot to mention it to the owner while checking out, but maybe if he's reading this he can get someone to fix it. Room No. 8 |

This hotel is close to the facilities in Torbay and is walking distance to the harbour and town, albeit up a hill. The sound proofing could be improved a little as the TV's appear to be on the party walls between rooms. |

Easy car parking, very clean place, nice hosts, good food, good terrace and gardens, comfortable lounge and bar. We had a 'king size' room which was a bit cramped, little space too be honest. |
