Lovely small B&B. Quiet location in a typical small dales village with excellent facilities. Hostess Millie was very friendly and happy to chat after serving up a delicious breakfast. She was very knowledgeable on surrounding roads/countryside.

    Nothing - can't be faulted.

Hazels Roost was a great place to stay on an overnight stop. I loved the fact that we were in the old cobblers room which had its own staircase leading up to it. The furnishings and bathroom fittings were spotless and in first class condition. The breakfast was well cooked with quality coffee to wash it down.

An observation would be that if you are allergic to domestic pets you might want inquire if there are any pets staying with visitors.

Everything in the room had been chosen with good taste and was of high quality. Breakfast was excellent and we immediately went to the village butchers to buy more of the sausage. All contact with Millie and other staff was very pleasant indeed.

    Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Our room was not within the main house and accessed by separate stairs. This gave it a quirky feel which we liked. The room was attractively furnished and the beds comfortable. Our breakfasts were taken in the light and airy dining room and were plentiful and tasty. Our host, Millie, was very friendly and attentive and we would be happy to stay again when next in the Dales.

Great place to stay, and a good location just outside hawes. Little B&B with immaculate bathrooms and bedrooms with a homely feel. The breakfast is amazing, I think we were the only ones there at the time but we were very well looked after.

Absolutely Everything, Millie was wonderful, we came with our little dog and stayed in the Twin Room which is much bigger than the photos portray, it is also completely separate from the main house which gives you total privacy. Breakfast was delightful, plentiful and very well cooked indeed. We enjoyed our chat with Millie during breakfast very much. Will definitely come back for longer next time.

Lovely comfortable two night stay in nice quiet village. Millie was very welcoming supplying excellent breakfast. With the help of a map borrowed from Millie had an exhilerating 10K run up the old roman road. Also within easy walking distance of Semer lake. Thoroughly recommended.

One night stay on route of TdF Stage 1. Very welcoming - Tillie could not have done any more to make us feel comfortable and at home. Also, 4 bikes accommodated under cover to rear of the property.

Very clean and comfortable; friendly and helpful owner; good breakfast.

Bainbridge is pretty but has limited places to eat out at night. However, other villages such as Askrigg are within easy reach.

Millie is an excellent host and you do not need anything for lunch after one of her breakfasts. The accommodation is spotless and is in a quiet spot in the village. Its location makes it deal for walkers, cyclists and tourists alike.
