Location was fantastic, friendly staff. Decor was beautiful, bed very comfy! Best part! - the shower ! it was amazing!!! Over priced, no tea or coffee in your room that was disappointing especially for the price you were paying! felt like someone's home and not the buzz of a hotel, noisy on Saturday night! Breakfast was way over priced! And you had to have it in your room!

The location was very good. The room service was very fast. The bed was uncomfortable, the was No tea making facilities only room service, the rooms were basic, no tissues no face cloths. There was an air of complacency amongst the staff rather than care and competence. I don't think I saw any of the reception staff standing up they were mostly just slouching in their chairs. There was no easy way to park to off load luggage and no valet parking. There was no feeling of luxury. Unfinished food I had bought in local shops and biscuits I had bought as part of a tea service were removed uneaten by the cleaning staff.

Unique, historic and interesting hotel. A beautifully furnished property and in a great situation. Friendly welcome, efficient and discreet service. More than met our expectations. No restaurant in the hotel but room service breakfast (and meals on request) and good Italian restaurant and bar a few paces away. All fabulous.

Hazlitts was wonderful - the staff were helpful and accommodating after we arrived early from a long haul flight, providing us delicious breakfast in front of a fire in the library while the snow fell outside. We really loved our room - especially the experience of staying in such beautifully preserved heritage accommodation. We would definitely stay again. The only thing wedid not like was the fact that we could not stay longer!

The old fashioned luxury of the place The location Good staff willing to accommodate things or immediately right problems The high cost per night for a room is fine for a central located and luxury hotel but it should include slippers as well as bathrobe being provided and also an Nespresso machine or tea and coffee facilities in room would be appreciated.

Great location, very helpful staff and really, really comfortable bed! Loved the character of the place too and the bar is cool. Nothing...although if you have a problem with stairs you may want to get a ground floor room

Facilities, different old buildings. Decoration. Atmosphere. Location Breakfast in the room. There is no dinning room and the breakfast, not included, was not buffet. Separated taps for cold and hot water.

A stunning hotel. A nice quiet street though right in the heart of Soho. A very warm welcome and personal service. Wonderful combination of an historic building and thoughtfully integrated modern facilities. The library is an exquisite place to relax.

The atmosphere is great. The room that I got was what had been pictured in Bookings.com (unlike other hotels I've stayed at). I enjoyed the library, and lounge. The location is fantastic. nothing - it was great.

Hazlitts is a rare gem and a well kept London secret. Staying their is like having your own home in London. Our room (The Teresa Cornely Suite) was gorgeous. The bathroom was also very impressive. The location couldn't be better. Not having a cooked breakfast option was a little disappointing however breakfast in bed was a real treat.

Very charming old hotel. Intimate, old-English manor atmosphere, with hundreds of varied books in the rooms and common areas. Paintings throughtout. Fireplaces blazing in common areas. Just a very nice and comfortable atmosphere with a very accommodating and friendly staff. I never stay elsewhere when I take a holiday in London. And the location in SoHo is central to live music, restaurants, theater, movie theaters, Chinatown, Covent Garden, and museums. A minor issue: The "Shampoo and Conditioner" provided in the bath is sub- par. It has no conditioning effect at all. Would recommend separate shampoos and conditioners.

I have typically had great success using booking.com rating guide as a barometer for chosing hotels. Unfortunately Hazlitt's does not warrant it's current high rating. My wife and I stayed in the junior suite last week (off-season) at a cost of 460.00 pounds/night. For this rate I expect the shower to function properly - it did not. I also expect courteous and mannered clerks - they were not. While I like the charm and quirkiness of old hotels, for this rate I expect carpets in the common areas to be clean - they were not. When we complained about the shower, the clerks were rude and could do nothing for us and ''just work here''. I understand that attitude at a major chain, not a boutique hotel. This room may have been value at 150.00. At 460.00 I felt ripped off and do not recommend to anyone. Close to Theater.
