The Surroundings

The carpet was filthy as was the shower enclosure and the curtains were off the rings. General decor very poor.

Room had no shower except a hand held bath attachment Room had no safe Lack of reception staff on arrival. Exterior of building has a "tired" appearance

The breakfast was lovely and the staff were even lovlier

Hotel was clean

Being kept awake until 3.30am with very loud music being played and then being awoken at 5am by inconsiderate people banging on bedroom doors. Not a pleasant stay - didn't stay for breakfast.

Everthing, will stay again !!!

Staff genuinely very friendly. Peaceful setting

Chef had only limited menu (no steak) on the night of our anniversary and I was looking forward to the steak recommended by others on this site. Lack of staff as the barmaid was also waitress and receptionist.

Warm welcoming greeting from staff the room was comfortable large double bed with balcony good view of the lake. It was not top of the market luxury but clean warm good strong hot shower. There was a good choice of breakfast the usual; full English, pastries and cereals.I choose smoked salmon and scrambled eggs delicious - real coffee! Excellent value I think new owners doing a upgrade but lovely people I would recommend.

We attended a wedding nearby and arrived to a very friendly staff team who couldn't do enough to help. Flexible enough for the Bride and Groom to arrive late in the evening. Grounds were fab for an earley morning frosty stroll prior to breakfast.

Room was a little too hot and I was unable to turm rads off. However it was very cold outside so understandable heating on.

The whole place was full of character... A really unusual place to stay.

Our room needed a new carpet!

Beautiful grounds

The mattress was awful! No mattress protester and we could feel every single spring. We had such a bad nights sleep we got up and left at 7am.

Lack of atmosphere, my burger.

Staff were friendly even though they were multi tasking a lot eg bar worker also the restaurant waitress. Good location for the office in Farnham, also peaceful at night. Restaurant food was tasty

Décor little shabby. Room radiator didn't work but they provided an electric heater which was ok for room but didn't heat bathroom which was freezing.

The atmosphere and the location, will return again in warmer weather so I can explore more of the surroundings.

I stayed for 4 nights and it was lovely. Very comfortable, clean and a lovely atmosphere in the bar when I ventured in.

Lovely building in a beautiful setting. Very spacious rooms and bathroom. Good breakfast selection.

Bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water

The room was very tired, the bed and bedding was poor and I was itching for days after staying there. Also the room needed a good clean and there was lots of noise from other guests. Very Poor

Lovely location Clean and friendly

Loved the hotel for it's inovative idea of a valentines room & meal. We met up with a crowd of friends for the afternoon / evening and had the added bonus of a disco as well. Well done Headley park!

The carpet in our room seriously needed replacing. This did not stop us having a great time though.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was brilliant, my wife especially loved the Steak.

let down by cooked breakfast every thing else very good.

The fantastic old building and the grounds it was set in. The staff were very accommodating. The lake, the ballroom with the original ornate fireplace.

There was a large function arranged and that seemed to take presidense over guests staying.

staff very helpful, they even started breakfast early for us, enabling us to miss the rush hour. Thank you.
