The staff were all very good and the food was good in the evening, as was breakfast. The room was quite large. there was a wedding on which meant we didn't feel we could use the bar area around lunchtime. Evening meal was sitting between 2 large birthday parties.

We stayed one night at Healds Hall to attend a surprise party for a friend. There was a nice welcome, our room was attractive and comfortable and certianly adequate for our needs. The staff were helpful and arranged taxis for us without any problem.

We cannot fault the hotel or it's staff. We also had my mothers funeral tea at the hotel and again we cannot fault the service or the staff. We cannot rate healds hall high enough and will recommend it to anyone. Also we would definately book to stay with again when next in the area. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We wanted a cheap evening meal and, although the menu in the restaurant looked good, it was a little out of our price-range. However the receptionist kindly gave instructions to another restaurant that was a little cheaper. I was unable to plug in the kettle for a hot drink. I had to move it on to the floor so that the cable was able to reach a power socket. Not ideal.

The room was full of charactor, two large windows, and was nice and warm. The bathroom was very large and modern with a rainfall shower.Breakfast was freshly cooked with home produce. The juice was not a cheap nasty one! The breakfast conservatory was very cold. Towel rail in bathroom not wired up

Stayed to attend a function. Booked a twin room but given a double - not a big problem and didn't ask to re-locate. Odd locality but very pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. Evening buffet and breakfast first class - top quality ingredients well prepared. Would rate 3* plus.

Good value for money. Excellent dinning. Room clean, warm and nice comfy bed. Staff made you fell very welcome. Healds Hall Hotel was much better than we exspected. We will certainly be returning & family who just popped in to say hello left with a card for future bookings. Visit this Hotel with confidence. Quite difficult to see Hotel sign from street, as there are quite a few bushes by the entrance.

Good value. Warm and comfortable, friendly staff. Could benefit from a bit of redecoration. Reception a bit untidy. Room old-fashioned.

I very much enjoyed my stay: friendly staff, easy atmosphere, on site parking and a good option to the usual chain hotels. Also, the restaurant staff kindly offered to bring the dinner to my room, which was really appreciated after a long day of meetings and driving. I very much would have liked a foot bath in my room, and atherefore sked for a basin or even just a bucket from the kitchen. However, this was not possible according to the banqueting staff. That was a bit of a shame.

The hotel was easy to find, coming off the m62. It was 10 minutes from our wedding location. The beds were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast included in the price made it a value for money stay. Although there was a wedding at the hotel when we arrived, and the staff were obviously very busy, we were made very welcome. The late bar for residents meant that on our return we could enjoy a night cap in our room. There were a couple of small issues with the room which we made comments on at the time but otherwise very satisfied with everything.
