The privately owned Best Western Heath Court Hotel is 1000 ft from the center of Newmarket, and a 5-minute drive to the racetrack. Air-conditioned rooms have free Wi-Fi, and there is a restaurant. We booked a superior room. Most surprised by the size of the room and it was very clean. Quiet location. We did not use the bar or have breakfast. But it was a relaxing and comfortable stay. Definitely be back.

This is my favourite place to stay in newmarket. It is good value and the breakfast is excellent though could be served a bit later. Right in town, budget rooms well appointed though quite Small but other rooms large airy and well fitted out. Room service prompt and servings large, decent quality and good value. Staff always been really helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was sad as the hotel itself was "tired and faded" - it was obviously magnificent a few years ago but it did have a sense of neglect that a fresh coat of paint and tidy up would improve

I was made to feel at ease and welcome. Staff were very pleasant obliging and polite. I enjoyed the breakfast at my leisure and was sorry due to my schedule I didn't manage to fit in any other meal times at the hotel. I was very pleased with the room I booked it was just what I wanted. I was also impressed with the parking facilities.

The location was perfect as our daughter lives and works for one of the horse racing trainers in Newmarket. The hotel was ok and the room was nice and clean. I stay in lots of hotels around the country with my work, and i have to say that this hotel is in need of upgrading. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was ok, but the overall hotel needs a face lift. This is not a complaint, just our thoughts.

i stayed this time in one of the delux double rooms. It was very large with a lovely bed and ensuite. there were big windows as well though the view wasnt entirely fab but you cant have everything. Breakfast was good and plentiful and I used room service to eat from the restaurant one night and my meal was big and well cooked if not spectacular. Will definately stay again, it was much icer than staying in the regular rooms. Breakfast finishes rather early.

No hand rails in bath for people with poor knees!!!!!!!!!!! Saturday night dinner dance dinner was very poor - not cooked as it should have been. Meat with no colour - very with peel on - cabbage not cut as it should be served

The hotel was in a great location but what made it was the staff. The man who greeted me as I checked in was friendly, polite and cheerful. The great atmosphere in the hotel was due to the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. The room was spotlessly clean, well appointed with a great selection of toiletries. The breakfast the following morning was excellent and again, the man who served was friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again and will recommend it to family and friends who visit the area in future.

The hotel is extremely well located for our purposes, it is well maintained and clean. The staff are helpful and friendly. The room was large with a good size en-suite. Altogether a good hotel and excellent value for money.

I needed a break from life having had a very stressfull time recently. I booked into Heath Court for the weekend, I walked into my superior double room and exhaled - spent the weekend totally relaxed and comfortable, did some shopping, watched some tv, ate some lovely food in the restaurant and by Monday morning I was ready to take the world on again. It is a lovely hotel and I was extremely comfortable.

Stayed because of Newmarket Races excellant location Windows in the rooms only open 6 inches which means not enough air in the rooms which causes a mustie smell that freshair would easily have cleared.

The hotel has a very relaxed attitude to clients. Not imposing too many rules and regulations and allowing clients to fully enjoy all the rooms in the hotel. Also the staff appeared to be happy in their work, worked very hard,,, but still had time to see to the important things.
