The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for both the tube station which was less than 5 minutes walk away and also for local shops/restaurants. The Guest House itself was quiet and clean which was very welcome after a noisy day in the city.

Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. One of the very few with a family room big enough for 5 people (2 adults + 3 children). Comfortable beds. Bathroom facilities were "average".

Room - free wifi, clean and fresh. Breakfast - good quality cooked food items. Friendly service. Very noisy - could hear noise of people walking around (creaky boards) and talking till 3am (thin walls) Cool temperature - radiator was not warm and no other means to heat room in the middle of the night.

The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were basic but clean with good bedding. The breakfasts far outdid our expectations and really set us up for the day. Although having booked out of the room in the morning, staff were happy for us to leave the car parked until the end of the day. The walls are quite thin so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Although no fault of Heatherbank, the tube was closed due to maintenance work so the journey into the center became quite a chore, taking easily over an hour by bus.

Decent location and good vfm for London prices. About 4 miles from Ally Pally, a tube station two mins' walk away and plenty of pubs to have a drink in nearby. Be warned, the 4- and 5-person rooms contain 2 x double beds, so possibly not suitable for people who are a bit prudish about sharing a bed with a platonic friend. This was not made clear on the booking.com website.

Comfortable beds. We stayed one night to be near relatives for Christmas. We were sorry there was no lift though the staff were helpful with luggage. We returned christmas night to watch a T.V programme. There was only one chair to sit on (uncomfortable). The second person had to sit on the bed and view the T.V at right angles. (very uncomfortable). When the beds were moved they revealed crisps on the carpet from previous occupants. There was no plug in the en-suite bathroom basin. there was no plug in the en-suite bathroom basin

Friendly easy going staff that were helpful at all times. Nice and quiet but only 2 mins walk from shops, bars, restaurants etc. Excellent cooked breakfast served quickly and a good choice of cold options including fresh fruit. Room was nice and warm and plenty hot water in shower/ bathroom at any time of day. Own front door key was handy no waiting to be let in at night! Room maid/ cleaners did not disturb and attended room when it was available. Parking outside door was allways available when required. I would definatly stay again, hopefully soon!! Quality of shower gel, soaps was poor.

Very welcoming to all of my family - brilliant full english breakfast + cereals muffins yoghurt and fruit etc. Left some belongings behind by mistake and hotel rang me within an hour. Good parking. More like 4 star than 3 excellent value will definitely use again and recommend to friends
