the room we stayed in was absolutley beautiful and the hotel was set in a beautiful location the food was not great, we had to wait nearly an hour before getting our starter's considering we were the only people in the restaurant we feel it was a long time to wait and the main course was only warm when it came out, and the portioning was very small. I feel it was very old fashioned and in need of an update |

My room, the Queen;s Anne Suite was very nice - recently decorated and new bathroom with whirlpool bath. Food very nice freshly prepared. No internet access in room, only accessible in common sitting area. Common areas past their prime and need redecorating |

The hotel has fantastic history and its association with reknowned architect Charles Rene Mackintosh was a revelation to me. The food was very good and hotel staff very helpful and friendly. The free wireless service made my stay even more enjoyable and fulfilling. Bathroom window was clean inside but no so clean outside and made me feel uneasy opening the window for the fear of dust and debris that had accumulated behind being blown inside. |

Second stay in two weeks because the hotel is so good. Food was excellent as always and service was excellent. Radiator in bathroom didn't work properly which made the room very cold. |

Very clean and comfortable rooms, good size, food was of a high standard. A little out in the sticks to find, but overall very enjoyable stay and would certainly go back. |
