not a lot, apart from the time spent with my friends - but that isn't anything to do with the hotel. The room was clean. it was tatty, the staff came across as disinterested, the room needs updating - we were upgraded and goodness knows what the budget rooms were like! very 1980's! stayed only one night so ok but wouldn't stay any longer! |

The hotel staff where friendly and pleasent and when we arrived they said that we had been upgraded free of charge, but I dread to think what the cheaper rooms where like. It was central to town which was good but you would only use it as we did as a one night stop over at a cheap rate. The whole hotel needs a complete revamp it is tired tatty and basically falling apart in places. The nice pool on your photograph is so untrue. It is in fact just a circle of green algae. The beds around the base where stained and grubby and the whole of our main door frame was cracked and the plaster falling off. The toilet cystern was broken and the whole room was like it was stuck in a time warp. If we had paid full price then I would have kicked up and probably refused to stay there. But as we only needed a bed for one night we stayed there. I do think you comments on your site to not reflect the true picture or condition of the Hotel so may be reluctant to believe your blurb if I booked through you again. |

Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful and easy to understand being English which is important. The room was spacious. Breakfast and Dinner were ok But the hotel was not crowded so being self-service was not a problem. This would be different if hotel was busy. The lift did not go to the third floor, the staircase was dirty and needed a good vacuum, there were stains on the carpet in our room and the blind was broken. Things which would not cost a great deal to fix. |

The hotel was the worst i have ever stayed in. All the photos are from 30 years ago, the swimming pool was completely green, the gardens are awful, the service is terrible. And you cna hear every noise in the room so if there is a disco you can hear it and can not sleep |

All the Staff were excellent, from the moment we set foot in the hotel we were made welcome. Perhaps the room could do with a lick of paint, apart from that the room was a good size, clean, with good facilities. |

The hotel was in a good location, close to the beach and local amenities. The the lack of space and cleanliness of the room was a let down, i also believe there was a problem was the heating so after airing my views was able to change rooms for the second night. One of the reasons for booking this hotel was that it offered a pool but to my dissapointmet when i arrived found out this was out of use, along with the health suite, this did have an affect on my weekend away as we have never visited the south coast before.I thought the rate of the rooms was un acceptable, i also noticed that you seemed to cater for the elderly as opposseed to the younger clientel. When i asked about the pool one member of your team asked if i was staying there with a patronising manner, this was unacceptable, lack of customer service |

The reception was friendly and helpful; the rooms were cheap; the location is nice for a stroll down to the sea view. The food was tepid, overcooked and in any case largely already gone by half an hour into dinner time. (Breakfast was a bit better, but still already very unappetizing, even only a few minutes after opening time). The restaurant staff were more concerned with clearing and cleaning tables than serving them. |

The executive room was nice and large. The choice at breakfast was good. The hotel is well located for the beach and clifftop. The hotel is badly in need of refurbishment. Basin was cracked. Decor is old. All paintwork is old and tired. Exterior needs a facelift. |

Although the room was clean, it was basic and the furnishings needed updating. However, my stay at the Heathlands served its purpose because I only needed a cheap hotel to stay at for a couple of days. I would not recommend it for a holiday. |

Price was excellent & provided good value. The breakfast was first class. We only sayed 1 night en-route to Southampton for a cruise & on that basis it served its purpose. It was a bit tatty in places & needs a lot of updating. Water system noisy & water was unfit for drinking |

I am being completely honest in stating that there was nothing that I liked about the hotel other than perhaps the location. Godd location for city / beach visit. Very poor standard of cleanliness & presentation & I intend to contact Bournemouth Chamber of Commerce about this hotel There were many dislikes, the most appaling was the broken glass at the reception desk that was there from the night before. There were small kids (toddlers) playing nearby, whose mother had to bring it to the attention of the receptionist, who incidentally didn't seem to understand the seriousness of the incident. The hotel cleaning staff seem to be entirely absent - There were stairs leading from reception to the first floor that were honestly like a building site (with dirt & grime). The passenger lift is more like a goods lift with the dents, scratches & dirt. I am not a particularly fussy guest & often prefer to use budget hotels. This place was simply unacceptable - even if the room charge was half the price. Don't go there! |

I thought this hotel was an aboslute disgrace. We asked to move rooms as the original one was quite frankly disgusting. In fact if I had not had to pay upfront!!! We would have checked out. It should be closed down - £80 a night is a joke. You should not be booking people into this hotel and I certainly wont be using your services again. |

The service was excellent as usual, with all staff, without exception being helpful and courteous, as were the breakfast facilities and quality of food. Very good parking availability, which does not always apply in Bournemouth. I had a single room, which I paid 74% of the price of a double room, which included one breakfsat and not two. The room was so small it could have been a cupboard. |

The breakfast was lovely and had lots of choice. The hotel is in a lovely secluded area, although still close to town and the beach. Rooms are very big. The hotel is very dated almost like being back in the 70's! The rooms and corridors are absolutely boiling. The shower was like washing with a watering can. We wasn't able to check in at 3 so had to wait until gone 4. The outside pool was out of order throughout our stay. The price for this hotel per night is very expensive, not worth £70 pn (more like £35). |
