building inside and out needs decorating
I was appreciated by that there were 4 towels in the single room, as I always use each towel for face, hand, body and hair. And I always need at least one bath towel yet this hotel provided two bath towels! So appreciated. Also, really appreciated for the plenty of instant coffee and tea ok the room. Thank you!
Most things good ambiance
Small bath towels
Our bedroom was good. Room 10
Our daughter had a bedroom on 2nd floor at end of corridor. Disgusting, damp on wall where headboard should be, no headboard. Sliding wardrobe door fell out. Dangerous health and safety. Should be reported!
location friendly staff ,cost of room
condition of room decor unable to open windows noisy extractor in bathroom hotel needs bringing into 21 century .curtains hanging of curtain rail and did not cover window.
the variety of food at meal times. the location. the staff friendliness.
the decor as it seems a little run down throughout.
The location being only a short distance from the beach ,town centre and immediate attractions was definitly a plus.On arrival the receptionist was helpful and polite. Would recommend a stay in Bournemouth to anyone.
What could have been a pleasant stay in a good location was spoilt by my room. Although clean ,it was quite dark, ancient furniture ,stained carpet ,depressing, small and most of all the shower hardly worked at all! Breakfast spoilt by the use of cheap catering food and wet defrosted bread.
I liked every aspect of my stay. Very happy experience. Recommend highly. Friendly and helpful staff. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast tasty with many choices, hotel bar had nice outdoor seating area and very good value for money. Will recommend to all my friends! I was positively surprised, will go back next year!
Can't think of anything negative about this lovely hotel.
The restaurant staff were very helpful.
The room had a broken toilet seat. With really economy toilet roll. The bed was very hard, too hard. The hotel was noisy all night long resulting in very little sleep. The food was well past it's sell by date, too fatty, not pleasant at all. There were no teaspoons on the tray in the room. There was no decaf alternative coffee on the tray. As for a executive double room with a sea view, that was very debatable on all accounts.
Hot room, very noisy and very dated!
They didn't change bed sheet..not clean room enough ?
View of bomb site out of window
size of double room close proximity to beach We were just there for couple of days but were only in room at nights..
interior quite old and few scratches.. electricity fuse went off couple of times..
friendly staff great location decent meals
small poky room at top of building non opening windows extractor fan whirring outside
The hotel was booked because of the close proximity to where we needed to be for an event.
The hotel was very dated and in need of a total redecoration. In particular the rooms (which ours was small) furniture that was probably circa 50's. Curtains at the windows were hanging off as curtain fixings broken. Not very inviting, however cleanliness was reasonably good.
Breakfast was included wirh the price
The quality of the room the facilities in the room the quality if the breakfast
Room not of executive standard. Decor needed attention. One window couldnt be opened. Shower in bath. Basin open drainage, could loose things down the plug hole, also rubber plug too large.
the food was value for money
this hotel needs a major update.it has the potential to be a good hotel but the upkeep is sadly lacking, the exterior is in desperate need of painting along with the majority of the internal
Location, friendly staff
Size of the room, old apparatus in the room
The beds and pillows were just perfect for me I slept really well. The room was very clean. The staff were incredibly helpful ~ looked up google maps and printed me directions. Very polite and friendly ~ actually looked like they enjoyed their jobs and that makes a big first impression.
I am not complaining this is just an observation. The room furniture was old ~ nothing wrong with it really but it could do with updating.
Staff and location
The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, for a 2 night booking it was very expensive, not good value for money, no tissues in the bathroom, the toilet seat was broken, the gardens were not maintained and had litter, particularly cigarette butts. The exterior of the hotel was not inviting at all.
Bed not made Bar shut very early
Friendly staff on reception and in restaurant, fair sized car parks.
Room could do with redecorating.
Not impressed with restuarant and the whole hotel seemed a bit tired,
Need to be more clear regarding furniture which very old styl
