Very friendly, helpful and efficient staff. Location. Services. Reasonably priced accommodation. Serenity. Shower curtain could have been wider and slightly longer to keep the water within.

I love the location. It is very close to terminal 5. They will pick you and drop you from the airport. In case if you come late. The city bus 423 just out side of the terminal 5 . At bus stand 7. You can ride it for free. Just tell the driver you will be getting off at next stop.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was very close to Heathrow Airport and provided a perfect location as a "night before" or "night after" a tiring trip with very late or early arrival/departure times. I was very pleased to find tea/coffee-making materials in the room. A very basic but satisfactory one-night stop over. We chose Heathrow Lodge because of web reviews, it's convenient location, budget price, and because it offered a shuttle service. The shuttle vehicle did not have any identification (hotel name) and we had great difficulty meeting up with it on arrival. With the help of airport staff and a number of phone calls, we were transferred to another terminal (there was a road problem). It still seemed to us (and my companion has mobility problems) that the driver was confusing Arrivals and Departures and was giving us wrong instructions. There was no problem when we departed. The premises, although clean, were dingy and uninviting. My traveling companion was disturbed by a stale smell and did not feel comfortable as a result. The narrow corridors need brightening up and better lighting. We would have appreciated a second pillow each. I suggest that the very narrow corridors get a facelift with a new bright, light paint and brighter lighting to improve the first impressions.

The young man at the front desk was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was ok,the lady doing the breakfasts was lovely. The location of the hotel was very convenient. The room itself was ok. There were no tea or coffee facilities. We live in a 24' caravan, and the ensuite in our van is bigger than the ensuite in this room! We kept tripping up the step into this added ensuite. It was so small, the toilet was wringing wet after showering. My husband could not even have a decent shower,he had to settle for a wash, after paying for this room!

I did not like anything, there were bedbugs! An over-priced, unrestful overnight. Bedbugs!

The motel is really a very basic level alternative to large chain hotels but the staff was friendly, particularly Vishan who greeted me on arrival and the man who provided me with a free van ride to the airport. Both were friendly & helpful. I read many negative reviews on the Heathrow Lodge & almost cancelled but it offers proximity to Heathrow at a very reasonable rate & I found the place clean & comfortable as well. All in all, my stay at the HEathrow Lodge was a pleasant surpirse.

Overall rating is excellent. The atmosphere is a warm and sincere welcome, just as if you are family. The staff friendly and helpful. From the free shuttle pickup and dropoff from LHR to Heathrow Lodge and noting the security cameras surrounding the premisis I felt secure and safe. The large T.V. in the room was a big plus for me. There are two pubs within walking distance for a meal or a snack. Ten minutes walk is a clean McDonalds and a petrol station where you can purchase sandwiches and drinks. There is not a fridge at the hotel to keep the sandwiches cold so purchasing them for immediate consumption is best. The Heathrow Lodge also offers cold drinks and candybars near the front desk. Breakfast is available in the morning for a modest additional charge. I will definately stay there again and recommend to friends/family. The entire place has a high standard for cleanliness, safety and professional yet friendly service. The rooms were very, very neat and clean. All surfaces were cleaned and vacuumed daily. Bed linnen were changed daily. My only suggestion would be that to use the vacuum nossel close to the floorboards from time-to-time would be a good idea.

The hotel is very convenient for Heathrow airport. The staff were very helpful. Pubs close by for nice meals and good ales. Hotel provides a free courtesy bus to the terminal at a pre-booked time and the driver was very helpful and obliging. The are also free buses servicing the airport passing the hotel.

Price and free shuttle to Heathrow airport. It was freezing in the room and shuttle operates only between 06:00 am to 10:30 am and 06:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday - Sunday.

Location and price were perfect. Just next to terminal 5 at Heathrow. Friendly staff, nice breakfast at the neighboring pub. There was a slightly strange smell in the room. Secondly, the hotel could have provided better directions for late arrivals (either by walking from terminal 5, which was about 10 minutes although one had to cross a bridge where officially pedestrians were not allowed) or with the Heathrow parking shuttle buses which the night manager claimed stopped just outside.

They picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. Rooms were small, dingy, and of suspect cleanliness. The walls were thin and noise carried easily.

The closeness to heathrow airport and the pick up and drop off from and to the airport was the highlight of my experience, although sometthing could be done with the present arrangement of airport pick up as I had to wait in the could for long before the driver came. The pick up at the airport took too long and had to wait in the cold at the car park.

Good location, very close to heathrow but not too noisy. Courtesy bus meant I got from hotel to my terminal in 10 mins. Good value for money. Courtesy bus pick up was confusing. Hotel receptionist did not make the pick up point clear and bus was unmarked so wasn't easy to spot. Although I appreciated the service I think it could be made clearer.

Pro: Very close to the airport. Has a free shuttle. Staff are friendly. Place is cheap. Con: The guest rooms are unheated! No heater at all! Luckily I was in a double bed room, so I took the quilt from the other bed. Still, this wasn't mentioned anywhere! The fire alarm went off at 1:30am and nobody responded. I had to get dressed and go to the office to report it. I didn't know if it was a false alarm or of the building was actually on fire! :(

We use HL as an over nightstop, to fly out early from HRW. We did not like using the bus, instead of your transfer, because Mr Evans has a disability, so i have to get the cases on and off the bus and drag them along to HL. It was very difficult for me. We have used HL before but never the bus. We like it because it is convenient.
