Noise from adjacent rooms
The room was comfortable and clean.
Our room was above the kitchen and the bins. At times it was very noisy. The view was of the fire escape and brick wall. Very over priced, we stayed at several other places in the Hebrides where we were made to feel welcome and were much better value. Total end of season feeling to our stay.
convenience food friendliness of staffg
noise from shiping
Good seafood. Good location for exploring Harris and visiting Harris Tweed shops. Great shower.
Some noise from road in the morning. Hotel right next to the pier. Wifi weak. Room was small.
Friendly staff Comfort
stunning location ,friendly staff, peaceful sleep and great breakfast, perfect!
Barman on the night was absolutley excelent. Customers were his first priority
Helpful staff. Delicious food.
Rather thin walls so too much noise from neighbouring rooms. (Snoring/skyping etc).
Right next to the Ferry Terminal, a lovely hotel very friendly helpful staff, great rooms with everything you could want, comfy bed huge bathroom. Restaurant excellent, food great and staff to nice. Breakfast was huge and very tasty, also very tasty and healthy picnic lunches are great value, just order the night before.
Only thing I found frustrating was the one way system getting off the ferry! Having to drive round a big circle to end up where you started was a bit frustrating!
A great place all round. Staff v friendly (it is a family run business), v clean, great food in restaurant, very comfortable
Great location. Friendly staff. Imaginative decor. At times, the public areas were a little noisy.
Bedroom was modern and comfortable. Hotel was situated right in heart of Tarbert, next to ferry terminal. Food was outstanding, in particular the breakfast.
Decent location, good restaurant, strong wi fi.
Clearly overpriced - not a value for money. Hotels of same calibre around cost 50-70% of the price, we paid here.
Nice room. Very friendly personel Ideal location if you're travelling on public transport.
The rooms were well equipped, modern, well decorated and clean. The restaurant served a good breakfast with lots of choice. Staff were all fine. The location is great if you are using the ferry.
It is overpriced for what you get. At around twice the price of other hotels in Scotland we were expecting spectacular but it was just very good.
The bar food was good.
Too expensive for a hotel in this area, even for a boutique hotel.
Everything -my idea of a perfect hotel
Friendly welcome at reception
Waitress in the restaurant was quite abrupt though efficient.
Great rooms - faultless Location - right beside ferry (from Skye) and at mid-point of the island Wifi - fast Staff are very helpful
Breakfast was ok - but not up to the price bracket Would have expected a little more for the price Could do with better quality dinner - though the bar food is excellent and well priced
Location, food, staff
I enjoyed my stay and the staff were friendly the food amazing.
The only downside for me was the noise either from people outside of the pub or on the other side the noise of the ferry parked up for most of the night.
Bustling atmosphere. Excellent restaurant.
A bit noisy. Floors were thin on sound insulation.
Courteous and friendly staff. Nice bathrooms. Good location for exploring Harris.
Too much noise from bar below in some rooms. Too much noise from overnight-moored car ferry in others!
All the comfort you need, very nice restaurant!
Proximity to the ferry was ideal. Hotel was clean, fairly newly remodeled.
The room had a bit too much furniture. We were in a family room and it was difficult to move around and open our luggage. Also, the shelf over the sink was hard to deal with while brushing your teeth.
