Loved the view while I was eating breakfast and the food wasn't bad either. Also the showers in the room were really good and powerful compared to other hotel rooms I've stayed in.

Some friends paid the same as us for their room but it was very small in comparison and very low ceiling, it definatley shouldn't have been the same price as our room (which was great) however the staff did knock money off when they complained.

Size of the room was good

Stayed for two nights as there was a conference we were attending. Stayed there first night before the conference as it was convenient to stay in the same hotel as the conference venue - wish we hadn`t now! Our fellow conference attendees stayed at another local hotel which was a lot cheaper and was a lot nicer. We had no heating or hot water in our room on the first night and morning of the conference - not acceptable! The room was over £100 for the night - we complained and received a 50% discount afterwards. Steam room was not on in the spa area either. Food was very basic and nothing to write home about both at breakfast and dinner.

We had a beautiful room overlooking the lake and golf course giving us a good start to the day with the view from the window. The breakfast choice was outstanding and we were able to bring our grandchildren along for a breakfast on one of the days - the staff then were most welcoming. We enjoyed the walk round the grounds and imagine in a couple of weeks the autumn colours will be quite spectacular.

Used the hotel as our base whilst attending the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The hotel was geared up to accomodate the race goers, i.e early breakfast, helpful directions and itinararies for the circuit. Loved our room, very comfortable.

There seemed to be a shortage of staff in the bar and restaurant between 7 and 8pm on saturday 9/7/11. Which was a little odd during a busy weekend for the hotel. One area of the restaurant was of a very good standard, the rest seemed a bit like a canteen. The table settings and the chairs were of a very different standard.

Staff very friendly and attentive, food at wedding reception very high quality - good value for money all round, and a very nice location

De ligging van het hotel is gewoonweg prachtig. De rust en de natuur zijn er ideaal voor een uitstapje of je kan er gezellig ontspannen na een drukke werkdag.

De menukaart moet nog verfijnd worden. Een hotel van die klasse zou in het restaurant een veel betere culinaire menukaart kunnen aanbieden. Men heeft zich teveel naar Amerikaans model laten meeslepen om junkfood aan te bieden wat spijtig is!
