The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, especially Jenny.

the room was massive! great views from the room & restaurant. loved the pool and sauna too. really nice variety at breakfast.

Good location with scenary to match. Friendly reception and very adequate parking. The room was very comfortable despite it's location near the kitchen.

The restaurant staff were very inexperienced and lacked any form of training when serving the drinks. For example: Two Campari Sodas were served in tumblers and completely drowned in excess soda water and ice. The red wine was poured before having a chance to taste. The wine was far too warm at well above room temperature. The dinner was only acceptable with almost raw vegetables. The only option was for an early dinner reservation and it was very evident that the staff needed our table for a later reservation. The bill was presented immediately following the desert. No mention of tea or coffee to follow. Our first floor room was immediately above the kitchen and we were aware of food smells when opening the window. The view was non existant.

The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff professional and polite

Children in the pool when they weren't meant to be, The bed linen was tired and a small hole in the bottom sheet. The double bed was 2 singles zipped together without a mattress topper to protect you from the zip making it uncomfortable if you laid on the zip.

In an excellent location, quiet and secluded. Well size rooms, good on site facilities, gym, spa, swimming pool, 10 pin bowling alley, golf simulator.

Limited time usage of the internet in the bedrooms, 2 hours each night stayed.

hot water and comfy bed. Good choice at breakfast although needs to be replenished quicker. Went to hellidon for the golf but course covered in snow so unable to play-looks a great course though. Bowling fun.

Old loo seat in room-needs replacing. No view from room.

Jauzzi wasnt open. I booked two rooms, one was upgraded to a family suite the other wasnt. There wasnt any robes etc to use in the spa. The pool was cold. There wasnt any bags in the changing rooms for your wet swiming costume (i.e. they hadnt been filled).

Could not open skylight, breakfast staff very busy but shows popularity would have liked a bit more attention but food was very good

Original restaurant booking 'mislaid'. Fortunately, restaurant could accommodate our party, although not at preferred time.

No fresh flowers around. Decor in resturant a bit bland

I came by public transport, from Devon, so it was not very accessible for me.

Went to this hotel for a family wedding. It was very enjoyable, the rooms are lovely, bar staff very good at their job.

Good location & lovely grounds. Very helpful duty manager (Mr Sam Cross). General manager (Mr c Steadman) is resolving our compliants.

Poor staff attitude (most, not all - there were three exceptions). No lift service, or valet service offered, to the majority of the second floor. Had to carry luggage up myself, no fun when we are both in our fifties! 'Tired' loft room (221), far too hot. Poor velux window in sloping roof provided little or no ventilation. Room far too hot - no air con Unusable table and chairs sited under the 'caution - low ceiling' sign - you'd have to a a dwarf to use them safely. Dirty linen & room service food trays left on floor in corridor. Waited half an hour for table at breakfast. Lots of uncleared tables, food not replaced, full English breakfast was never completely available. Fresh fruit, butter, margerine and hot water (!) ran out and were only obtained as I complained. Whole hotel feels 'tired' and in need of massive overhaul. Kept awake saturday night by the noise of other guests in the courtyard two floors below, it was so hot we had to leave the window open.

Very friendly staff both at the reception desk and around the hotel. Nothing too much trouble and attention to detail really good. Food was great, wonderful breakfast choice! Evening meal quite expensive but service and quality very good. Location beautiful and perfect for our trip to Silverstone. Would definitely return.

Bedrooms were very warm but still lovely.

It was too noisy late at night due to a wedding. They need to take more care of other guests during these events. I got no sleep

the bowling alley

when we arrived we thought this looks nice the reception area nice as was bar and resturant but the rooms wer disgusting the carpets filthy and walls the toilet wasnt cleaned when u go on holiday u expect cleanliness i had to clean toilet the bin in toilet had chewing gum stuck to bin liner i booked on line the price was £547.62 the lady at reception tried to tell me the price was £800 when i showed her my booking she said oh and by the time way payed before we left it was still over the price i had on paper

The view from the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous as you look down onto part of the golf course and a large lake. Also the staff were very good - extremely helpful and accommodating.

I was slightly disappointed with the evening meal on the first night. I had the Duck but wasn't told that it didn't really come with anything and that I probably should have ordered some side dishes. However I did have the burger on the second night and that was excellent!

Nothing really to complain about, but as a motorcycle traveller I did notice that there was no secure motorcycle parking, but that wont put me off staying again.

Stunning views across countryside/golf course. Food at dinner and breakfast of a high quality.
