Lovely challenging golf course, great fun. Exceptionally friendly staff, and lovely breakfast- staff and food. Bed was massive and very comfortable. I was a little disappointed that the jacuzzi was not working, and I felt that it did hinder our stay as it is meant to be a relaxing hotel, it would have been nice if we had known before our arrival. However everything else was lovely. |

Very helpful receptionist, clean tidy hotel, good coffee at the conference. I arrived at 20 minutes past nine and the receptionist told me that the restaurant closed at half nine. The receptionist kindly took my bag while I went directly to the restaurant When I reached the restaurant I was told I was too late to get a meal. The bar snack was OK but I would have preferred a meal. |

The facilities of the Gym and overall cleanliness. The food in the bar area has been very poor on a couple of occasions when I have stayed. It seems as though it is just thrown together without any thought. |

Just the fact that we relaxed and the views and countryside were good The room was ok very basic and not very clean. The pool area looked in very poor condition so we didnt bother with it. Our bathroom floor was covered in hairs!!! |

great views, great place to relax. Just eat out like we did. Drinks were expensive as well mind £3.40 for an orange juice topped with lemonade i think bit over the top. other than that used the spa facilites i had a masarge, the girlfriend had facial and masarge, pool was great, we went bowling had a great time, over all it was great couple of days. The hotel was excellent the only one thing that lets this hotel down is the restaurant food, I had a rib eye steak meal and well it was so bad it smelt off, chips were still raw and hard, my girlfriend had a burger and it was half cooked. At breakfast you had to ask for everything from milk to bread there was not enough food being laid out I put this down to very bad management. |

The size and cleanliness of the room at a very reasonable price. The 2 bar staff for our evening function of 80, had no idea of how to run a bar. None what so ever. I could write paragraphs, but will leave it to the imagination. The staff at Breakfast, had no co-ordination and all looked exhausted. There was no one person running the restaurant and it appeared that staff were not responsible for individual tables. All very chaotic. |

Oh, where do I start? The room was situated above the "smoking courtyard" and noise and smoke carried such that you felt you were sleeping down there with the people - not helped by the fact there was a party going on until the early hours of the morning. The room was like a sauna with the windows shut but there was no way you could sleep with the windows open, due to the noise. |

The hotels facilities were fantastic, the staff were very attentive, especially the restaurant worker Zoe The fire alarms going off during the Valentines meal were a bit of a shock but couldn't have been helped |

Hotel is clean and some of the staff is really helpfull. Restaurant is absolutely pathetic - see below. We stayed there for Valentines weekend and all went fine until the Valentines dinner. It was a complete shambels. It took an hour and a half to get our starter (after they lost our order). There was absolutely no service. In my opinion the Management was really bad as they only had a few staff working and probably in excess of 200 people in the restaurant. |

excellent location very clean and spacious rooms ,nice grounds and very good facilities,nice restuarant the food on the second day was as bad as it was good the first day, but the second day was very busy for them, though that shouldnt really be an excuse |

Location We when away to celebrate getting engaged but my partner had food poisoning after eating the cooked breakfast, weekend was completely ruined due to this... Complained to staff and no manager was available, still waiting to hear from them! |

The surrounding area is beautiful, its a calm and peaceful enviroment. Staff have been very friendly during this stay. We've been 3 times now, the first 2 we had a room with a really nice bathroom but no view, this stay we had a fantastic view but an older and smaller bathroom! |
