By the A2, on the edge of Sittingbourne, this Premier Inn is near the M2 motorway and a short trip from Newington and Sittingbourne train stations.
Score from 135 reviews Very good
Situated in the heart of Maidstone, just 250 metres from the River Medway, this family-friendly Premier Inn Maidstone offers a bar and restaurant.
Score from 308 reviews Very good
A delightful old pub close to the city centre and its many tourist attractions. The ruins of the ancient water mill (hence Miller's Arms) on the River Stour remain alongside the pub.
Score from 323 reviews Fabulous
This modern Hilton hotel has spacious rooms, an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym. Maidstone town centre is within a 10-minute drive and the M20 motorway is less than 0.5 miles away.

Beautiful hotel full of character. Nice to be greeted by cosy log fire in reception area. Polite and easy check-in. Spa facilities are superb. Nice cosy spacious bedroom with large spotless bathroom. Ate in the evening in private dining room as Christmas parties in main restaurant. Nice open fire and cosy atmosphere. Young staff were all very friendly and polite and the food was really good. Breakfast next morning was delicious with lots of choice. Highly recommend for a relaxing break.
Great atmosphere - log fires roaring in the morning. Excellent food and great staff. Cant fault this hotel stay in hotels 4 nights a week all over England this is the best
The staff are incredibly helpful and cannot do enough to help you. This was my second visit and cannot wait to return. I have booked this hotel for my parents as I am sure that they will love it too.
The only thing that let the stay down was the fire alarm going off in the night for some time and although it proves that the system works well, there was not any mention of it by staff the next day by means of apologies or explanation which I felt was a real shame.
Loved the spa and the country style accommodation. Lots of comfortable and cozy corners to sit in. Attractive decor
Access to third floor had no lift on that side of the building despite being listed as superior room. Insufficient vegetarian choices. No gluten free or awareness of allergies.
The location was ideal, the staff were very friendly. The evening meal left me absolutley stuffed! Prime reason being there was a spa break which we both enjoyed immensley.
Around the pool there wasn't enough loungers.
The hotel is well furnished and very comfortable. Staff very helpful, nothing too much trouble.
Food was not up to its usual standard
would go again.
This hotel has a homely feel about it, which made a refreshing change from the clinical chain hotels I usually stay in. The room was comfortable and well equipped (bath robes in a standard room was a nice touch; having tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water available in the room was also good). The spa was superb - one of the best I have seen in my frequent hotel stays around the uk - and the gym was well equipped. The breakfast was good quality (freshly cooked and brought to you, rather than the dried out, insipid self-service buffet style fare you are often presented with in chain hotels) and the Thai themed bistro in the spa area was also excellent. It was a pleasure, for once, to stay in a hotel that I didn't want to leave!
There was honestly nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
The spa. Amazing. Zero fault. Superbe.
Poor sleep due to constant slamming doors and noisy ventilation. We booked a table at the restaurant for 8pm but had to wait one hour to be served the first course. 1/2h wait for breakfast to be served on table the next morning. The staff is cold and distant. The food very average. Only great for a spa day but avoid staying overnight.
Great friendly atmosphere
Hotel was lovely. The Aqua Manda was brilliant for relaxing
The restaurant had a lovely menu but the food was poorly cooked.
Stayed on a hen party and booked private use of spa and dining. Had a lovely time - food was excellent and staff very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and a nice size
Excellent food and very good service
Having to go back to reception two nights running because the key card did not work properly.
Service, convenience, massage
Location, and room was a good size
Decor just a little bit tires, flaking paint, and there were a plague of flies when you opened the window
Uncomfortable bed, room smelled of cooking smells was too hot and a little bit dirty.
We stayed here to go to a wedding 7 miles away. It was beautiful . Sadly we didn't spend enough time in the place as we were at the wedding . The grounds were lovely too. Easy to park .
11am to book out the next day is too early . 12 noon like a lot of places would be better. By the time we had breakfast it was 10.30 and we had half an hour to pack up and be out of room.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Restaurant was very good both for dinner and breakfast. English breakfast on Sunday morning was actually available at 0800hrs on the table - not many hotels manage this.
My bedroom was on the second floor (quite a climb - no lift) and heated by the sun all day - very warm and difficult to cool.
The carpet in my room wasn't that clean when I arrived.
The hotel was fantastic. It was set in beautiful grounds, and the staff were amazing. Not too far away drive from Canterbury (30 mins max)
The local area of Sittingbourne wasn't very nice
Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa facilities excellent and efficient. Well run family atmosphere. Brassiere food was very good and staff very friendly.
Restaurant food was a little bit of a let down. A la Carte menu was not all available, crab starter needed seasoning and peach dessert was so hard it was inedible. Daily menu was much better value and was fresh.
Option to eat in the Brasserie with good menu choice and relaxed atmosphere
