The ornate features of the hotel, the history and comfort. The hotel is not near enough to train links into central London. Hendon station is around 15mins walk. If have have baggage this is a problem.

The room was very spacious and very beautiful. Only a mile from m1 and the tube station. The breakfast was gorgeous a lot to choose from and it was delicious and good quality produce. The only downfall was at night you could hear next doors tv.

Great hotel, great staff, great breakfast. Room small but really well appointed. Bed really comfy. Would stay again. The late bar wasn't very welcoming felt like I was putting him out by asking for a drink!

- Nice staff - luxurious surroundings - nice toiletries - Very cold on the day of my visit and my room never got warm - kitchen was out of action for breakfast - eating a bar meal on my knee was not good - it was not cheap either - i was charged for someone else's meal - took ages to sort out at check out. not good!

It was all great, in particular we love the bath hot water supply. You can fill up the bath in literally 1 minute! Also you have many lovely choices for breakfast. A little bit far from the nearest tube station, 20 minute walk.

We booked months in advance. Arrived about 8:00pm due to terrible traffic. We were assigned the worst room in the hotel that should not have been rented. Due to construction the windows were boarded up with no view. Had a terrible night due to the stuffiness of the room. No reduction in rate. Admittedly we were assigned to a better room the following night.

Our welcome from the receptionist was excellent she could not have been kinder. We had a pleasant afternoon tea in the garden. The room was not as large as we had imagined but more than adequate. We appreciated being able to park the car overnight without charge. The breakfast was really excellent, very good choice and nice fresh food. For this trip it was really well placed half way between our daughter in Barnet and niece in Primrose Hill and because of the Olympics driving was easy but it is possibly not so well placed for further trips as it is not really near the tube.
