This is my favourite small hotel in London, it is like home from home and very secure. Extremely efficient and polite staff, and the standard of cleanliness and comfort is exceedingly high. You would need a microscope to find a pathogenic organism here! The lift has always been in working order on my visits. The Manager who is always impeccably dressed, s if about to attend a board meeting, is very polite and treats one as if one was paying for a five star hotel. Having breakfast in the atrium is a pleasant experience. I wanted to stay on the Monday night but it was fully booked, and one needs to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. A real gem.!

Having read some reviews suggesting that you should avoid this place, I booked, with easy access to the Royal Albert Hall being the main reason, with some trepidation. I need not have worried. The staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and clean...the bed very comfortable...and the breakfast plentiful.

We went to the royal Albert hall so the location was goodand the price was right. The staff were friendly. The room was clean ,nice white sheets and towels. The breakfast was ok. It would have been nicer to have fresh fruit for breakfast. Other wise it was all nice.

It was quiet and peaceful and I loved the view of Barkston Gardens. The area has 'atmosphere and I loved the Breakfst Room. Just that being elderly climbing stairs was a bother, especially with luggage.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Excellently placed for visitors to London. Would stay again. Appearance was dated and shabby at first sight but lots of renovations going on in immediate vicinity causing lots of dust. I expect Henley House will be included in these renovations. Lots of artificial plants which they could do without.

The hotel was an excellent location for our visit to the Ideal Home Show with plenty of other facities close by - eg pubs, restaurants, shops etc. We had stayed in a hotel close by last year and this was by far the best one of the two. Staff were friendly and helpful and were only around when you needed them which was nice as we felt very trusted whilst there. The cleanliness of the hotel was first class and our room was lovely with a view overlooking the gardens and very comfy and clean bedding and bathroom etc. We will definitely consider staying at the Henley House Hotel in the future when visiting London. Gail and Rachel. No bar area which was a shame - my daughter just wondered if they could make a small area in reception for people to sit and possibly enjoy a drink prior to going out for the evening or maybe a nightcap before bed. Also the breakfast service area was rather small and a bit cramped when a few people were trying to help themselves to the self-serve breakfast.

The location was lovely, in a peaceful square and very close to restaurants, shops and the tube. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and had tea/coffee making facilities. I thought it was excellent value considering the price.

The twin room was a good size. There was a pleasant view of the square from the window. The hot water was instant for both shower and sink! Having stayed there before, on the top floor, I can say the lift is very welcome. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The TV had no satellite channels as promised in the brochure.

The staff were absolutely brilliant. We were having a family reunion and there were many of us milling about, especially in reception. The staff were polite, helpful and co-operative. Excellent value for money and superb location. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone.

- Nice hotel, located very close to Earl's Court Tube station - Quiet and safe area in Kensington - Comfortable bed - Plain but good enough breakfast - Lift - Money for value - Single glazing - Although there is a lift, I had to climb one flight of narrow stairs to get from lift to my room on the 4th floor which is not easy with a heavy luggage I had

Good location - Rooms are small and old - breakfast is minimum. Save your money and buy fresh bread & drinks 2 blocks away, near Earl's Court - The hotel front desk staff gave us a fake invoice, made in Excel.

Good price/quality ratio, convenient location 3 mins from Earls Court Underground - the city is easily accessible. Very friendly staff. Safe & pleasant surroundings, small but decent breakfast in a nice patio. Normal size of the room. Very good for what you can expect at this price from London. Stay here the 2nd time. Once tried "Barkston Gardens" hotel nearby - significantly worse vs Henley House. Rooms are not soundproof. Overall a bit weared out, but definetely tolerable.

The location to Earls Court Exhibition Centre was the only positive thing about the hotel. The room was small, badly in need of renovation and the TV did not work.
