Stayed here for a night out in manchester, the owner was very very helpful as we could not get a taxi anywhere, So she ran us in her own car to our party locally, This was very kind of her, Thanks again. Very clean, warm and worth every penny. Would stay again if in the area.

The sitting room is under-used. From my point of view this was not an issue since I mainly wanted a good room in which to sleep and to work, which I had, and good service, which I received.

It is clean, warm and convenient to where I am working, and very good value for money.

Kerry( the owner) was very friendley, arrived later at night, & she was there to greet me, give me the keys to my room, & explain the security system Great breakfast & also found time to chat, & was very helpfulon everything & nothing was too much trouble Handy for getting about on public transport, bus stop to Stockport/Manchester just outside the B/B

Road noise quite loud, although this was outweighed by the benefits of this friendly B & B.

We found the room quiet satifactory, it was a weekend stay. My biggest complaints were (a) no staff around at any time (b) that breakfast was not included although it is advertised as a b & B. The receptionist booking us in was friendly. The parking facilities were reasonably good.

Warm and very friendly welcome to an absolutely spotless premises and room. The bed linen and towels were white not grey. Large tv, clock/radio/alarm, tea making and the radiators were on! Manchester was very cold and wet. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful - set you up for the day. Parking was no problem and the security gates, key only access and cctv were most reassuring! Excellent value for a central city spot and would recommend very highly.

A very friendly welcome from Kerry. The room was clean & comfortable - having a single room with en-suite at a reasonable price makes a nice change. Finally, the breakfast was nice & fillng!

This hotel is fantastic value for money and I would highly recommend it. It is exceptionally clean and puts the larger chain hotels in the area to shame. My room was delightfully decorated complete with flat screen tv, en suite, tea and coffee making facilities and even a safe deposit box. The bed was very comfortable and linen crisp and clean. I also have to say that the landlady is lovely. I didn't have time to try the breakfast due to an early start but suspect they will be delicious!

Absolutely exceeded all expectations. Room were fantastic, and the landlady was extremely understanding. Cannot praise this B&B highly enough for how we were treated, and not only that for the assistance given in a difficult situation. Would use again, and will recommend. Thank you.

The only thing that let the place down was the standard of the cooked breakfast, it was not nice to eat!!

My wife and I booked Henry's for 3 nights based on location, price, and user reviews as we needed convenient accomodation in Stockport for our son's wedding. A number of our friends (individuals and couples) also stayed there on the Friday / Saturday nights. Everyone was made very welcome and Kerry (our landlady) really went the 'extra mile' to make our stay 'wedding-stress-free'(!) from start to finish. This included letting us check-in outside the 'official' time on Thursday and serving us breakfast slightly later on Friday and earlier on Saturday. It is clear from conversations during our stay that she takes a personal interest in her guests' welfare - we were treated as people rather than numbers! Both of us opted for the full English breakfast each morning, which was good value and set us up for the day! We also made good use of the residents' lounge, and particularly appreciated the opportunity to bring back our fish and chips to eat together as a group in the dining room on Friday evening. Although the accomodation is on the main A6 route into Stockport (with a bus stop 20 yards along the road), our room was very quiet - however it was at the rear of the property so we can't speak for those at the front. Our room was comfortable, airy and spotlessly clean. There is ample, easily accessible parking at the rear of the accomodation. We have no hesitation in recommending Henry's B&B and hope to stay here again when we come up to Stockport to visit our son and his wife.

My colleague and I stayed at Henry's as we were attending a charity meeting the following day - so price and location were vital. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. A free, secure car park with the B&B was also essential. A great bargain for money.

Room was well presented and tidy. Adequate car parking.

Plastered with notes about everything under the sun except the most important - 'Enjoy your stay'. Mine Host seems to have forgotten that the guest are not there to provide them with a five star income but to enjoy a starred stay with them. Huge portions do not compensate for instant coffee and budget provisions. Large room but lacking thought, such as comfortable casual chairs, place to put suitcase, shower doors that do not fall off, a shower with pressure and a place to layout out a beauty case.
