swiming pool , sauna , brekfast , location
the welcome the staff gave us the room food bed was comfy
our room (16) was a little noisy because of the door next to it being so close.
Pleasant friendly staff. Well organised.
First room was on ground floor very small and dingy but when asked we were offered a third floor room, although still small it was much nicer.
Breakfast was OK
Small and dated rooms. Generally felt not very clean
A very quiet hotel so we managed to get a very good night sleep. The staff service was excellent and the breakfast are very fulfilling.
Close to the tube Close to shops Breakfast choices quite good Staff pleasant Small but pleasant swimming pool
Room extremely small Air conditioning didn't work properly 'Tired' decor Staff mostly foreign and some had difficulty understanding us
Comfortable,quite and very good location.
The bed sheet didn't change every day.
Great breakfast Convenient location Friendly helpful staff
Tiny room A/c didn't work so had to have windows open and trains were extremely noisy.
Very good location, three buildings from the Kensington park entrance. So I was walking from tube station (from one of two stations, one - 5 minutes, other - 10), mostly, enjoying good weather, through the park. The indoor pool in the hotel was working from 7:30 to 23:00 so after all walking day I was really enjoying swimming.
The minor issue: breakfast as usual, is an issue of proper timing, the earlier you come, the better choice you get. Towels do smell bleaching when wet.
The location is excellent.... lots of cool bars and restaurants near by... Hyde Park is at the end of the street too! The staff were great, couldnt do enough for us and the swimming pool, sauna and breakfast was fab!
Leaving so soon!
English Breakfast good. But sometime Indian food also can be servered
Professional staff, good location, fruits for breakfast.
Our room was ridiculously small and the wifi didn't work very well.
Convenience of situation
Quite shabby, 4* facilities maybe but definitely not 4* quality or plushness.
Location was only good point .for
For 4 star it left little to be desired. Rooms were shabby and unclean and in need of makeover as well as linen .bathroom towels etc were past there use by date and room had no fridge and ironing board fell off the wall . Would b lucky to make 2star hotel .
location great, breakfast and staff OK
outdated interior and infrastructure, AC and toilets broken, no air circulation in rooms or hallways, no view from rooms and quite small, swimming pool too hot, no way a 4 star hotel!
Air Con Not working
The price for such small rooms
The front desk were for the most part helpful but there seemed to be a lot of staff training.
This is not a four star hotel. In fact it is barely a three and for what they charge it should be a much improved hotel. I left after the first night. The room was so small and the hotel breakfast was a joke. I would have done better in a hostile. They staff knows this and isn't surprised at all when guests complain. I must say in all the hotels I have stayed in while visiting London this is the worst. There was a member of staff who was extremely rude and I was not happy with the entire experience.
The staff was nice, the location was good.
The room was so small and the general condition of the hotel was dingy. They initially claimed to be wheelchair accessible but upon arrival did not have an accessible bathroom for my wife nor did they offer us another room to us. The hotel was exhorbently priced for what you got. It is unlikely we will return.
The personal was very kind and helpful in everything.
The room were old and small and the breakfast was very poor.
helpfulness of staff
Two night stay. Had to change rooms after one night due to poor state of shower room in first room. Second room was very good.
location is nice
room was very small.staff isnt helpfull. Breakfast saloon is very bad and breakfast is bad.wifi doesnt work in breakfast saloon and some places.
Good staff, good place
Bad value for many
We liked the location, it was fairly clean, breakfast included in the price.
We didn't like the room, it was tiny, stuffy, no air con/not working, window facing a wall and the what looks like the hotel vent system, noisy and blowing hot air towards the window, no parking, tiny bathroom, everything was so old... And unpleasant.
