I didn't like the attitude of the staff, and the fact I was ripped by the hotel who booked me a private taxi instead of the black cabs at extremely high prices. When I needed another taxi I asked specifically for a black cab and was told that it wasn't the hotel policy and they only used the private company! I had also paid extra to have a late check out as I had been up all night at an event, which they new about, and was disturbed twice during this period firstly by my phone ringing, and then by the house keeper banging on my door, (even though I had do not disturb on the door), sarcastically asking if I was thinking of checking out that morning! When I told reception this upon my checkout they half heartedly apologised and said there had been a misunderstanding!!!!!!!!! I would never stay in this hotel again and wouldn't recommed it to anybody.

.The room was clean and spacious as was the bathroom The service was good until checkout. Then I had to wait for ages to be served. The receptionist took my card to be processed. As it was going through she went to help someone else and then disappeared altogether. I was eventually helped by another receptionist who was unable to process the payment but who at least stayed until it was resolved

Nothing - it should be closed down. The room smelled of damp. It was next to an underground line - could see the where the line was from my window and hear the trains clearly. The staff had no interest when I spoke to them and clearly just wanted me to go away - even though I was a hotel guest.

Very friendly staff. Rooms in very good condition, clean & good state of repair. Good choice of buffet breakfast. Room we stayed in wasn't quite sound proof. We could hear passers by on the street.

It's location was superb, bed was comfortable I wasn't too impressed by the bedroom. When booking a 4 star hotel you expect more for your money.. Room was small, tv was smaller than a pc monitor, bathroom had no wow factor at all, shower was not that impressing, toilet didn't flush properly..

The hotel was clean and the single room was adequate, although the bed and pillow was hard. Compared to other similar hotels in the vicinity the bathroom attached to the single room was good. There was no air conditioning in the room but , luckily , the weather was cool. Breakfast was adequate. Staff were pleasant Hard single pillow on bed. Only CNN, German,Spanish and French channels on TV. NO BBC or ITV working. No bottled drinking water

I love all the activities that I really partcipated in during my stay in the Hotel. The hotel has staff of high moral and professional standards. The room is always neat all day round. The Buffer Breakfast is one of the areas I like most. It well organised with rich breakfast all days. I wouldn't hesitate stay there next time I'm in UK and will also recommend the place for friends and colleagues. I still find it diffcult to actually pinpoint any area of discontentment in delivery of services of henry viii Hotel during my 8 - day stay in the hotel in April, 2012. Without been immodest, the hotel is superb in all areas that I actually witnessed during my stay. However, the hotel needs to improve in the area of the Internet Services to the rooms to make it SECURED and more stable for the users.

Good breakfast and very nice staff The room I was in (319) was minute. The furniture was cheap, there was one pillow and the tv was ancient. For fresh air I opened the window to discover that the Central Line was 40 metres away. Didn't really matter because the lift was next to my room too. Dire.

Free Wifi, good service, good breakfast with wide selection. Hotel is convinient to Paddington and park and only a few minutes walk to the tube. The area feels safe. Room has all the amenities and everything worked. Rooms are not quiet - you can hear neighbors and train that passes by every few minutes (even if we were on the 4th floor and requested a quiet room). WiFi works well, but my computer flagged a security problem with their certificate. Breakfast was usually crowded and the food is sometimes cold.

Not friendly staff. Also hotel commit themselves to provide guests with free bottles of water at the reception but when we requested reception about water they suggested us to go out and buy. Because bottles were finished and bar normally starts after 7 pm. In general 3+

Excellent breakfast. In walking distance from two underground stations.Helpful staff. Because of the thin walls I could all the time hear what my neighbor in the next room was doing. The room was not so small as I was afraid...

“I live in Australia and stayed in 14 hotels in 4 weeks in Europe and London. The Park Grand London Paddington was by far the best hotel I stayed at in this time. The reception was excellent, the room was outstanding and the location was the perfect distance from the train station. Congratulations to the hotel for it's service and staff which were outstanding.” Elaine, The Vines |
