Henson Hotel    

Having to constantly ring a bell for bar service etc no interaction from staff shower in room was very small

Welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable room. Good choice at breakfast.

the friendlyness of the owner. the henson has a very relaxed feel about it.

nothing to actually dislike but as it was a bank holiday weekend entertainment every night would have been very nice as we had to go each night.

We arrived early to make the most of our weekend. We were allowed to park our car at the Hotel as we couldnt park in Blackpool as it was a bank holiday weekend. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming.Our room although small was spotless and had everything we needed. Plenty of coffee etc and the bed was really comfortable. The entertainment on Friday night was fab and the artist even let my husband get up and have a sing. Breakfast set you up for the day and was piping hot and the waitressess were efficient without being intrusive. Couldnt fault the staff in any way.

Lots of unruly children but this was the parents fault and not the hotels. Would have liked some entertainment on Sunday night with it being a bank holiday but neither of these small issues spoilt our stay.

Blackpool continues to be a very "tacky" seaside resort. As long as you accept that, a good time can be had

beds where a bit hard and on exiting our room when walking down a corridor they is a door hinge the sticks out and if you are a 6ft person there is a chance you can bang into it

it was brilliant we had a fantastic time it was clean and they couldnt do enough for us the food was fantastic and plenty enough and we will go back again

Location

Cold Bathromm, No towell rail in bathroom and no where to put your clothers only on the floor.

the breakfast was very nice,plenty of choice and not rushed. the room was very clean and extra pillows were available( i like plenty of pillows!!!)

Shower was hopeless

The owners and staff were extremely attentive, nothing too much trouble. One small problem with the plumbing was dealt with immediately. The breakfast was well-cooked and plentiful.

the hotel is lovely this was our second time at the hotel you are made very welcome and the breakfast is fantastic

Clean, friendly, welcoming, helpful, cheerful, lovely breakfast, clean room/bedding etc., car parking available right out front.

Very welcoming and child friendly, no request to much they suppied milk for our son, very good value for money, breakfast was excellent

Shower not brilliant

Great friendly welcome and rooms were clean and cosy with large ensuites. The bar area was quiet due to being out of season but there is loads of seating areas and a dance floor for when entertainment is on. The breakfast was nice and hot and there is a good choice of cereals etc. The view from the front of the hotel overlooks the Big One roller coaster and is ideally positioned if you want to get on the tram as it is a quieter spot and you can get a seat on the tram before the busier stops. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

When we arrived got handed the key and got left to it didnt get bothered once...staff r freindly with nice little bar and allowed us to leave the car in the carpark allday its accesable and close to the water park n theme park good standard hotel.

Although the room had a radiator which had been turned on in the room,the radiator is now a little old and does not give out enough heat, subsequently the room wasn't that warm. A little investment on replacing the radiator for a modern more powerful one plus putting a thermostat in the room to control the heat would not go amiss.
