breakfast, delicious and cooked to order seating area in room fridge in room cake lollipops breakfast 7.30 - 8.30?! Even Premier Inn can do better than that. Little notices everywhere saying don't do this, don't do that. Had I been on my own, I would have felt rather vulnerable staying in the log cabin in the garden.

Breakfast was well cooked Attitude of staff, which was bordering on rude and impolite and unwelcoming. Smallness of room 3, barely 10' square not adequate as was the onsuite @ 8' x 2'.6". Expensive for what it was,I've booked 4* hotels e.g. Holiday Inns for less.

Excellent value for money. Very good breakfast Quiet Local to pubs The Booking.com web site site phrase about 15% prepayment??? See below. This caused a bit of an issue when payment was required by owner.

Very pleasant rural location not too far away from shops and a pub where I enjoyed a pleasant meal. Wifi is poor, but they provide a LAN cable which works fine, not really a problem.

Lovely setting. Helpful but not too pushy. Couple of small suggestions: Could do with hooks in bathroom to hang wash bag or role. Hair dryer - Could not see mirror due to length of cord.

the bed was lovely and i had a great night sleep. there was a door or window that sounded like it was banging in the wind. That was a bit of putting as it went on a long time.

Clean. Easy parking. Tiny en-suite with noisy disposal unit. After intial meeting to explain room and facilities no one seemed to be available. Quite a difficult 200 metre access track to get to the B&B.

The warm welcome on arrival; the unintrusive friendliness and attention to our needs; the relaxed but efficient ambiance; the excellent, generous breakfasts; the availability of free Wi-Fi access, and the quiet location. There was nothing to dislike.

I believe we were upgraded to the deluxe twin. This was a self contained cabin. Very quiet. All modern conveniences. Excellent hosts. Lovely breakfasts. Secure parking. Discount for dinner at the lovely local pub The B&B is a little difficult to find, it's up a little lane They have great problems with the Internet in the cabins. Ok though in the house sitting room.

We travel for business throughout the year and I can safely say that although the hotel was quite nice, the owner is one of the rudest ladies that I have ever met. I wish I had read further through the reviews re this hotel regarding the problems we ourselves were to encounter. The owner is the most abrupt and rude lady. On arrival I was told my car was incorrectly parked. The room we were given , though beautifully clean was very small, there was no window, but a patio door. This is not suitable to be left open at night if you are to warm. There are signs, signs and more signs. Do not take coat hangers, do not eat in bedrooms, keep noise to absolute minimum, no smoking on balcony, room will be inspected after leaving and any missing/damaged items will be invoiced. Etc etc. there is no dressing table or place to apply make up. Hair dryer cord will not reach bathroom mirror. It is not a b and b as breakfast is charged at £7.95. So strictly speaking its at best a B. the landlady, I feel, heard us complaining about the inadequacy of our room. She offered to move us. We assumed to another room. In fact we were taken outside to what was a shed. A very nice shed I must add, but outside. There was no wi-fi as promised on their website. It states wi-fi in all areas. On leaving the first room I, as usual, folded up my duvet. I do this to check that I have not left any items in bed. I was asked not to do this on return to the hotel that evening. Stripping the beds is apparently a job for her girls. I was bewildered, I had not stripped the bed? The is a fridge in the posh shed, But yet more noticed. Do not put any food in this fridge. There was a bottle of tomato sauce in there, not ours! We couldn't wait to leave and indeed left very early the next morning. If you have a car with less than the best suspension beware of the dirt road leading to the hotel. On return home I wrote to the owner telling her how I felt regarding her attitude, room inadequacies, lack of wi-fi etc. in fact the things mentioned above. Her reply beggared belief.
